I listened to jiang's lectures about a different view about the origins of the holy bible. Pretty interesting that one of the agnostic views is that the Bible is most likely state sanctioned court propaganda by the kingdom of David to legitimize his rule and his legacy. The person in charge of putting it together was likely a female court historian....the genius of the bible has more to do with the literary genius of its editor. Also the bible is a work of literary fiction influenced by Egyptian and iranian/persian culture, something that is never talked about in sunday school... -
