Cynthia Addai-Robinson (born?) is an English-born American actress. Is the London-born daughter of a Ghanaian mother and an American father; moved to the United States at age 4 and was raised in the suburbs of Washington, DC. As a teenager, was inspired to pursue a college degree in theater after attending a summer theater camp at Carnegie Mellon University. She received her first role on television in 2002 in an episode of The Education of Max Bickford. In following years, she made small appearances on television shows like Law & Order: Trial by Jury, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, CSI: Miami, Numb3rs and Justice. In 2009, she got her first recurring role on the ABC drama, FlashForward playing the character of a Debbie, a nurse. Her biggest role came in early 2011 when she was cast as Naevia in Spartacus: War of the Damned. She replaced actress, Lesley-Ann Brandt who played the role in the first two seasons but decided to leave the show. She also had a small role in Colombiana.]She was cast as a witch, Aja on The Vampire Diaries. She also had a cameo in Star Trek Into Darkness.
In September 2013, Replaced Lesley-Ann Brandt in the role of Naevia in Season 2 of the Starz series Spartacus. She was cast as Amanda Waller in season 2 of the hit CW show, Arrow.
