Dazzling, unique...I barely have words to describe her beauty and the intensity of her expression. In love with this editorial.
Some interesting things I didn't know...
-She suffered bullying at school. When she returned to Italy from Africa she was 14 and life in high school wasn't easy. "My parents sent me to a Catholic school. At that time, my favorite outfit was a sarong and some Metallica t-shirts. My hair was full of braids and my body full of henna tattoos. My classmates destroyed me like a weirdo. My first day, they called me weird, sick, they talked about the tattoos and they said I was dirty. I came back home that night and I tried to erase the tattoos until my hands bled. Since then, I started dressing in black and I didn't talk to anyone".
-In 2004, she did catwalks for 135 luxury brands.
-One of her brothers died from cancer. That season, she took a break.
-She split up from her husband (and father of her daughter), Andrea Patti. "My daughter has changed my life completely. When she was born, we moved to Ibiza and it was great for some time but life not always is like you expect. Andrea and I split up, I came back to Rome to be with my family and since then I've been focused in the happiness of being a mother".
-Apparently, she's thinking about quitting fashion business. "I started when I was 17 and I've never stopped. This industry gives you a lot but it demands a lot too. Now, it's time to think about what I want".
-According to Carine Roitfeld, "she's one of the few top models who would be good at acting. Her future (if she wants to) could be in film industry".
I couldn't agree more with Roitfeld's comment.
