IKR? I don't get why they kept putting her on the back burner only to bring her back on. What's weirding me out is that back when VS announced London for the VSFS, Lindsay retweeted it. Maybe she'll pull an Erin. And Jasmine Tookes for token black Angel.

I've had a feeling this was Adriana's last show for years. Eventually, I'll be right. All kidding aside, it definitely feels that way, they had her do the London thing, then they emphasized her b-day way more than the other girls, she may or may not have a third FB and now that. It definitely has a huge send off feel. Especially considering how VS has been promoting the hell of Behati (Mrs Adam Levine), Candice (Maxim Hot 100 #1) and Lily (SI cover girl). I'm feeling Adriana and Lindsay going this year, maybe Alessandra and Karlie next year, Behati and Candice being the new Stéphanie+Karen/Tyra+Heidi/Adriana+Alessandra and Martha and Elsa becoming Angels within the next year and a half if they don't blow it. Which would leave us with Doutzen, Behati, Candice, Lily, Elsa & Martha. And re: VS hiring American girls, VS is an American brand. When Tyra left and they had no American Angel (and 4 Brazilian ones) at the 2006 VSFS it caused a mild controversy which resulted in them pulling Marisa out of their behinds, so yeah, I'm pretty sure they're not gonna do that again and will make sure to always have an American on the roster from now on.

Well, not as cheap as Elsa's perfume commercial. It had to be said. And re: Karlie, why do you think Cara isn't the queen of PINK despite all of VS's ass kissing? Because she knows a VS contract would only restrict bring her down as it would majorly restrict her opportunities. Karlie isn't Doutzen who has a family and wants to spend time with them, she has the possibility of exploring any opportunity and she shouldn't restrict herself with an Angel contract.

While this thread is always the right thread, this isn't the thread for that kind of question. It would be the one you'd go for if you wanted a chart of which Angel would invite which to their wedding, though.

She's hung out with Adriana and Doutzen a few times but that's it. But really, VS would want us to believe that they are all friends because that makes them that much more likable, personable and thus probably better sellers, but it's a lot of bull. Lindsay didn't even invite any of the Angels, so there's that. I think it's pretty obvious that Lily, Behati and Candice are friends (as well as Erin and Rosie) while the rest are just co-workers with Doutzen being the friendliest of them.

Has Karlie ever worked for VSX, though? I know Candice, Lindsay, Doutzen, Alessandra, Lily and Adriana have but IDR Karlie ever doing anything with them. Doutzen has a beauty contract with L'Oréal, VS does beauty products but Doutzen has never modeled for VS beauty and naither party seems to mind, so maybe it's just that Karlie isn't affiliated to VSX, like how some PINK girls don't do regular VS and so on. I still don't see Karlie lasting very long but it could be normal. PINK has been their top seller for years, though. I don't think Elsa has much to do with it. It's more about"wear your scjhool/team" than Elsa. I do think that VS was smart to "fidelize" their clients by giving them girls that stuck around and who were strictly PINK and have them move on when said clients "grew up". They should have done the same with Chanel and maybe Karlie who didn't have the "woman" look (as opposed to girl) when they first hired them. Then maybe they wouldn't have flopped as hard.

Well, it certainly feels like Candice, Behati & Lily are the new faces of the brand (featuring Camille, Lais and Martha) and the old guard is on its way out. I think it's a shame that Lindsay will probably disappear completely, I wish she would have been like Izabel but alas. I'm wondering who will be the token black girl, though. It seems Chanel is somewhat back and I have seen a bit of Jasmine and Gracie as well. And Alessandra is a goddess and y'all will deal. On a side note, the actress they chose for Elsa on OUAT looks like a flop.
