That annoys the heck outta me too! Adriana is not the be all, end all of the modeling world. And I can't for the life of me understand why every girl with pretty eyes (blue/green like you said) has to automatically be compared to her. Its possible that Adriana will be remembered as an icon but forreal, all the "she's the next Adriana" and "she's no Adriana" talk about every new pretty-eyed girl is getting old! End of rant Thanks for the new scans Prettyphile and Natia

Thais Oliveira
Would any of you insiders happen to know what Thais is up to these days? She's so gorgeous and should be getting a lot more work!

This is Emily's thread and I agree that we should keep as much as the conversation to about her as possible. However, don't blame the people who engage in conversation about other models/actresses. Blame the person who started the conversation to begin with. And anyways, the person(s) who started the conversations about Adriana and Megan did at least relate them to Emily. No harm, no foul then.

Izabel Goulart
As long as I've known about Izabel she's been gifted in that department lol Again, I'm jealous

Emily isn't being forced to look so mature. No one forced her to take part in the photoshoot or to get on top of the dresser. Furthermore, Emily is 18 which is to say she's a consenting adult. Let's also keep in might that while in theory 18 year olds are less mature than 30 year olds, there's plently of 30, 40, and 50 years who act like 15 year olds. Which is also to say there's plenty of 18 year olds who are much more maturer than 30 year olds. Point is, Emily has free will. She could have said no but she didn't. So I guess one can assume she saw nothing wrong with the shoot. And again, she's 18 - an adult!

Excuse my choice of words Please be mindful of the rules of Bellazon in relation to bitch/slut/whore related descriptions (see Rules of Bellazon at top of home page). ~ Post Edited by Joe > Average But I don't find her remotely attractive. I think she tries too hard to be edgy and sexy. Emily is just gorgeous! I don't fully understand why anyone would compare her to Megan when Emily is such class. Anyways, I hope those Givenchy rumors are true!! I wanna see more of Ms. E P.S. ~ I somehow doubt Emily's had any work done. It may just be her makeup or perhaps the pic has been altered.

Fantastical ~ I said I didn't want to spark a debate not because of something you said but because I've seen posts of that nature (Commercial v. HF) in other threads and it got pretty heated. Anyways, the debate itself is nonsensical. I mean I have my own feelings about commercial modeling and HF but I don't lean strongly to one side. Both play their roles in keeping the industry afloat. So there's no sense is the fighting. And let's be honest (for those who side with HF), there's plenty of models a lot of us wouldn't have a clue about had they not walked in the VSFS (I can speak from experience in that regard). Which is also to say, commercial modeling companies such as Victoria's Secret, Mabelline and others have effectively done their part in jump starting many careers of models who later went on to have major success in HF.

Yea I get what you're saying... I mean I did say that the money and exposure seem to be the big pulling points lol I guess for me, if I were a model, I'd rather keep to the HF stuff. I mean that's not to say I wouldn't model for VS but I don't think I'd sign on to be an Angel. Especially when there's a clear hierarchy. In other words, like you've guys pointed out, the Angels don't all get the same amount of exposure. By the way, it is not my intention to spark a debate over which is better or more prestigious: VS/Commercial or High Fashion.

Izabel Goulart
Thanks for responding Brenlynn and Tigerlily. I never really understood the attraction towards being VS Angels. I mean I understand it with respect to the money and exposure but I always felt being an Angel was restrictive (for lack of a better word) in terms of time and ability to work with other designers/companies, you know... And I've always gotten the impression that [generally speaking] VS Angels aren't held in as high esteem as those who do more HF work. Just a thought...

AJ Abualrub
Hahaha yes I agree! AJ's way way cuter than Jake
-
Izabel Goulart
I don't pay a ton of attention to the VS Angels so excuse my ignorance on this next question - why isn't Izabel an Angel anymore?
-
AJ Abualrub
He kinda reminds me of Jake Gyllenhaal... only cuter
-
Gracie Carvalho
Gracie is ONE MILLION times better than Selita Ebanks! Would anyone happen to know how old Gracie is (DOB)? EDIT: She was born July 23, 1990 according to nymag.com
