Yes. Ale we know doesn't do swim because of her own line (ale by Alessandra). I hope Adriana shows up, she's been working out a lot, so many people are speculating that she will show up eventually. Not surprised if Karlie doesn't do it. She's not really the 'swimwear' type. I'm so bored with Martha Hunt. I honestly don't understand why they keep using her. They should be pushing one of their younger models (Nadine, Kelly Gale, Bridget, Sara) instead of her.

I'm out... No she doesn't... the only similarity they have is the blonde hair and 'youthful' looking facing. Gigi is better looking than Rachel by miles, and also has a better body. Plus she is a more seasoned model, having already worked with SI, Meisel, Carine Roitfeld, and Lagerfeld for example.

2012 was the first show that they started featuring performers in practically every segment. I wish it could go back to how it was before. Honestly, this year would have been fine if it was just Taylor and Ariana. I don't care when PINK has a performer because the segment is a mess usually anyway. They should limit the mainline segment to only 1-2 max with performers.

And also, Gigi has an undeniably perfect social media presence. She has a pretty large following, mostly consisting of girls in PINK's target demographic (very much thanks to Cody Simpson...). Plus she's very well spoken and humble. she's literally perfect for PINK. I'm shocked VS has taken this long. I hope they use her as a main PINK girl for at least two years, and then let her transition to mainline. She has definitely proven herself as a worthy model, and has had tons of prestigious HF work (Tom Ford campaign, Pirelli Calendar, Carine Roitfeld cover, etc). I also think it's very likely that she will become a Sports Illustrated cover girl too, so combine that and boom! Major star power!

I actually think what's making the VS shows go downhill is the inclusion of too many performers, performing in almost every segment. It takes the focus away from the models and is probably why we get all these crazy cuts and edits - screen time has to be shared with the models and performer. It used to be that is what special that the performer would sing in a segment, but now it's just standard. It's literally becoming a concert instead of a lingerie show. VS needs to go back to having only 1-2 segments with performers, and maybe a 3rd performer doing a solo segment.

Could you link us please? I wanna see! Gigi and Taylor Hill would be perfect as a PINK pair! VS can already fire that Rachel Elsa-knockoff chick.

YES finally!! Where did you see this btw? I checked her thread and nada. And lol at Monica Mitro vs. MJ Day I've always thought that the SI swimsuit issue is basically a glorified VS swim catalogue. Smart of VS to jump on that chance to capitalize on what works for SI.

Barbara Palvin could be that girl IMO Barbara WAS that girl. She had everything lined up for her, but she honestly wrecked her career by becoming a 'glorified' groupie/party girl and neglecting her modeling image. She focused on too many side projects at once and VS didn't call her back.

I think Jourdan is too 'big' and successful as a top model to be considered for a spot as a VS angel. VS likes girls that they can mold and 'create' (with the exception of Karlie in recent years). The problem with that, however, is that they simply have not been successful at all in creating true superstars. VS truly lucked out with girls like Adriana, Candice, and Miranda. What VS needs now is women with POWER and INFLUENCE. Just put a model like Joan Smalls next to Lais. While one may argue that Lais is more photogenically beautiful, Joan simply has that it-factor and holds a sphere of power and influence in her career. Can't say the same about Lais. When I think of powerful women in the world of modeling today, I think of girls like Rosie, Adriana, Jourdan, Doutzen, Alessandra, Lara, Raquel, Joan, Candice, Karlie, Natasha Poly, Irina Shayk, etc. VS needs to inject some more women like the top models who have proved their longevity into the brand. None of these new girls fit the bill.

Doutzen will indeed be hard to fill. Say what you want about her, but she was always so classically beautiful, humble, and sexy. There are simply no models nowadays that could even remotely fit her position. I truly hope VS keeps her. She's always a joy to watch and a breath of fresh air.

Are you on crack? 12 girls is far too many! Some will end up getting underused and it will dilute the angel status. I also don't think many of those girls would fit. Jasmine is pretty but has a flat personality and is dead behind the eyes. Stella isn't outgoing enough and looks too young. Martha is basically a low rent American Candice and not needed. Sara is okay but I still think she doesn't have enough mainline experience. Honestly, they should just keep the same line up (with Elsa). The less girls the better, as it will allow each angel to shine more. I feel sad that Doutzen is leaving, but if it's for the best for her career, I'm happy for her. I'm gonna miss all the Adrioutzen moments though

Taylor and Lily definitely had a lot of control over this year's show, especially Lily since VS kinda 'owes' her for Taylor last year. Lily said during the 2014 pre-show that Taylor was supposed to only sing once, and it was in a segment Lily wasn't in. So then Lily requested that they rearrange the show to have Taylor sing in two segments, BOTH with Lily in them. How fucking stupid/unprofessional is that?! hahaha It's like when you try to schedule classes so you are in the same class with your friend. You are a MODEL, this isn't the Victoria's Best Friend Show. Taylor was supposed to only sing 'Style' in one segment, but then Lily suggested that she sing 'Blank Space' in another additional one. Lots of last minute changes this year. I also wouldn't be surprised if Karlie opened Angel Ball solely because of Taylor's request. ________________ Personally, I'm so relieved that we are done with Taylor for good. It kind of sucks that Adriana and Ale had to get their Fantasy Bra moment at this shit show. They should get it next year when VS isn't salivating over Taylor/Karlie/Lily. I also think that next year will be an EXTREMELY tough call as to who will get the Fantasy Bra. It's honestly between Doutzen/Lily/Behati. Maybe even Karlie too, but the other three girls have way more seniority over Karlie, especially Doutzen. Why do you think so? Unless her friendship with Karlie and Lily ends, she'll be around the show. Don't be too surprised if we see her in the next show too. VS needs some new blood at the executive level. They have actually allowed a bunch of models and a pop star to run their show for them. That's inexcusible and comes with no surprise that their product sucks this year. If this happens I will never watch another VS show. There is absolutely no way Taylor will be back next year. I would hope even VS realizes that Taylor 3 times in a row would be excessive.

It's definitely not hatred, just mindless fun. She's ridiculous, but that's why we love her. I genuinely think Izabel is a great model and always stands out during the show. I've met her many times too and she's among one of the nicest models I've ever spoken with. But that's exactly the problem. Not every girl has a 'style' suited to OPENING the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. While Behati and Candice are great runway walkers and open segments well, they don't match the energy and power of opening the entire show. It's supposed to have a lot of energy, because it's the very first walk that viewers see and it sets the pace and excitement of the show. Models like Doutzen, Adriana, and Karlie on the other hand are power walkers that would be suited to opening the show. When Adriana leaves VS is screwed tbh. I can't think of any VS model right now who could even come as close to her in terms of being iconic with the brand. But rest assured she will be with VS as long as possible.

Honestly not even Natasha could have made the show any better. She probably would have been chopped in the editing room. True that. Honestly, #BodyByIza got the most runway screen time out of all the models. We all think she's thirsty for attention, but clearly it's paying off

For those asking why Lily D. is always cast, it's because she's Sophia's favorite model. I'm pretty sure all the casting directors have their 'key select favorites' that make it every year. If you follow John P. and Sophia on Instagram it's fairly obvious who they each like. I truly wish Natasha Poly was casted. She would have injected some fierceness is that slow-ass show. LOL at that awkward hand hug.

I will post a full review later, but here are my thoughts after watching it once: Ny nightmare came true: This was the Kaylor Swift Fashion Show of 2014 TOO MUCH TAYLOR SWIFT Music was waaaayyyyyy too slow. Holy shit. The show was slowing dying until Ariana revived it, and then it died out again. Is it too much to ask to see more than 3 seconds of a model? Geez. Ale/Adriana segment was a highlight. Truly loved it. Finale needs to be longer!! It's a good conclusion to the show and should be extended. I hate how short it was!! I liked the Russell segment. At least we got to see some fun BTS footage. Karlie's ballet segment was SOO cringeworthy. Why was that even necessary? It just ate into the time. If they wanted to promote Karlie, they should have made a segment like they did with Candice talking about her HF work outside of VS. Taylor also needs to MOVE OUT OF THE WAY. It was soo obvious when the camera was trying to pan to Lais, and Lais had to literally move around Taylor.

I have a feeling Romee will be there, especially since she was used along with Taylor Hill to test the hair and make-up. Stella will likely be there too.

Hmm, good question. BRB Yahoo-ing Adriana Lima. I did the same thing, and the only things that came up on images where just older pictures of her modeling career. Maybe she meant like "holy shit I was so young?!" haha The way she reacted you would think that she saw a photo-manipulated picture of her with a strap-on on her forehead

That Doutzen/Adriana interview was the BEST! Loved it!! They make such a great pair. Why did Adriana say "Holy shit!" ? What came up?! haha

They probably did talk about her, I'm sure it's just super edited unfortunately. I hate how they always seem to cut Ale out. In the street style video she wasn't even shown. Not fair to Ale! She looked absolutely stunning this year too. Yes I was really looking forward on hearing about Alessandra's street style which I personally love but either nobody cared or VS edited it out LOL hopefully is given on the show tonight. I love it too! The girls probably would have described it as 'California girl' style. Laid back, stylish, and easy.

Couldn't that just be fatigue? I doubt these girls slept much. Combine that with not eating, and there you go.
