Is it really a possibility that Taylor could be back?! I sure hope not. 3 years is definitely overkill, and I'm sure even VS knows that. Plus, Taylor won't have a new album out or anything (to my knowledge at least) so she wouldn't have any new material to sing. If anyone should come back, it should be badgalriri. She was PERFECT in the 2012 show and fits the VS vibe so well. She makes them sexier. Although I really want to FINALLY see Beyoncé perform at the show. I remember so many angels saying that they would love to see Beyoncé perform. Imagine what a show it would be!

I have a hard time believing that Lais is 6'1". I've seen her in person and she's not THAT tall. She's pretty regular model height, maybe slightly on the taller side (I'd say around 5'10" to 5'11"). Jasmine confirmed herself via Instagram that she is 5'10" (which makes the VSAllAccess height of 5'9" total bullshit). According to VSAllAccess, Sara is the same height as Jasmine haha I can testify that Sara is a shorty. She's definitely around 5'7", give or take an inch. Props to her for her honesty even if agencies/clients lie about it. Stella is also not very tall. The first time I saw her in person I was shocked at how tiny she was (height and thinness lol).

I bet Stella is cringing somewhere after seeing that VS used one of the only pictures in existence of her smiling on VSAllAccess.

It's not that outlandish when you recall that they signed 6 totally new girls all at once in 2009 (Rosie, Candice, Lindsay, Erin, Lily, and Chanel). Lily, Chanel, and Erin at the time had barely worked with the company prior to getting signed. They pretty much took that formula and added a few more girls. And can you really say that VS doesn't care about seniority? It's clear that they don't base their decisions purely on seniority as they also factor in each models' popularity at the time. But, they've never chosen a total newbie to wear the bra in recent times. (You can argue Selita and Marisa I guess, but that was over 6 years ago). If they have one of the newbies wear it, I'll be pretty shocked. Especially since none of the new girls have the star power that the FB choice usually commands. Marisa at the time was mega popular with the SI crowd and Selita was dating Nick Cannon (lol). If it comes down to star power, the next in line is Behati and/or Lily. I honestly think Doutzen may have gotten the bra last year if she weren't pregnant.

My money is on Behati. She's gotten so many catalogue covers. There's no way VS would give it to a new girl over Lily and Behati who have yet to get it. VS can be weird sometimes, but they're never been that outlandish with decisions.

Yeah. Sara, Elsa, Behati...pretty much anyone contracted but Stella and Kate tbh. LOL you can really imagine Jasmine and Elsa being like that? Elsa is so icy and Jasmine is beyond unfriendly. I definitely agree with you about Behati and Sara though.

I wonder how long it'll take before a hierarchy is created with the 10 newbies. With so many girls it's definitely inevitable. Who are everyone's predictions for the girl(s) that will rise to the top and the one(s) that will be dropped soon? I definitely think Elsa is already at the top, with Lais, Martha, Stella, and Jasmine trailing close behind. I could see Kate G. being dropped soon. All the others are equal IMO.

I like Rachel for PINK! She has a great smile and sells that type of apparel well. However, I definitely don't want to see her as an angel lol. I'm guessing she will open PINK at the VSFS this year? Funny story, I was walking in SoHo and I saw Rachel right next to me. I said hi and talked to her a bit! She was super friendly and sweet. I ended up snapping this street style pic of her (I've been trying to get some more street style pics of models out and about on my Insta). She happily posed for it and I DMed it to her and we talked a bit there. Strangely, I saw Elsa later that day too! But she refused a pic :neo2: Elsa isn't very friendly (with fans at least) to be honest. Many of my friends have met her and have said the same thing.

I'm honestly appalled at how awful this generation of models is at talking. Everyone sounds super forced, with the exception of Taylor, Sara, and Romee. They all look dead behind the eyes too. You can say what you want about Adriana, KK, and Ale's English, but at least they hammed it up for camera and appeared fun to be around. They worked with what they had and were personable. Adriana sounds more genuine in a 2000 interview than Martha the American does now. Like damn if your whole job was about looking good and talking well, you would think they would have the other half down by now! These girls have absolutely nothing on the charisma the models of the 2000's had.

Candice & Adriana were both hired as angels at the age of 19, and just shortly after they walked their first show. Guess they didn't pay their dues Bitches be needing to work to get that contract! Lazy ass models. Oh Gisele also booked at 19 and barely had work under her belt... KK was 16 when she started in their 2000 web cast, and she wore the FB in 2002 and yet wasn't booked as a angel tilll 2005. There is no rhyme or reason to how or why these girls get booked. Stop saying people need to EARN their wings, PAY their dues, DESERVE a contract. Just stop people. It's a forum. You can't just tell people to STOP having and expressing an opinion. Jesus christ. I see your point and I realize that my logic was flawed. I guess I just feel like it's a bit silly that VS and the models themselves are making such a big deal about being the newest angels signed when in reality the angel status is so diluted to the point that it truly doesn't matter so much anymore. When has VS ever made such a big deal about signing new angels? Karlie, Doutzen, nor Behati ever got a private photoshoot to announce the fact that they were the newest faces of the company. What I think I was trying to convey is that I think it is unfair on VS's part to give all these new girls so much attention when they barely did anything to "celebrate" the older angels' entrance into the company. You can't debate that. VS wasn't signing models left and right, and truly picked the best of the best to be angels. And regardless of their work with VS before being signed, Candice, KK, and Adriana ended up becoming huge stars. I don't get that vibe at all with ANY of the new girls signed. I don't care about who "deserves" it or not. They all technically deserve it, but I think it's such a stupid move on VS's part.

How many new girls has VS been 'harvesting' lately? Jac, Sara, Jasmine, Romee, Martha, Stella, Gigi, Hailey, Emily D., Vita, Rachel, Nadine, Josephine, Taylor Hill, Andreea, ??? Obviously many are gonna get the Bregje, Barbara, and Toni treatment, simply because there isn't room for all of them. Who knows who, out of those girls, will actually become angels.
