I have a feeling that's what happened to Sara Sampaio the first year she tried out.

How is Nadine Leopald on the runway? Does she do runway? I'd love to see her in PINK. Also, do y'all think Candice is gonna open the show again? It's obviously between Candice and Adriana (IMO) as they both did the London press event.

Let's be clear, VS's 'type' is clearly high fashion models. As much as people want to believe that they have 'no standards' and 'will take any tumblr models', this is simply not true. When was the last time an angel wasn't a legit fashion model of some sort to begin with?! VS rarely (or if ever, in recent years) has worked with a totally random hot model off of a social media website. They just don't. The VS aesthetic is essentially well-respected HF models, albeit with some exceptions. Think of their current angels. Lindsay, Behati, Karlie, Candice, Doutzen, Elsa, Lais, were all 'it' runway models at some point (maybe Candice not so much, but she did do FWs). Lily Aldridge is the only exception, but she's from a well-respected fashion background and had some legit print work. Edit: BTW today I met Lindsay for the first time and she was lovely. I was with my friend Michelle and Lindsay was very sweet to us! This is the picture that Michelle took with Lindsay; mine was so ratchet haha.

The Hannah girl looks very 'tumblr'. She's super beautiful, but VS's aesthetic tends to lean in a different direction, I'm not really sure how to describe it. I have a hard time believing Doutzen would say that Behati got the FB bra. They usually just say "I don't know" when asked. I remember back in 2010 I was with Savanna at a VS event, and she asked Adriana if she got the FB. Adriana said she had no idea, but from the way she said it, it was so obvious she had gotten it haha. It's the only way to tell!

I want Martha for SI! I love seeing the VS/SI crossover so I'm all for it! Secretly hoping for Erin Heatherton to do SI. She would be perfect, especially for an all-american theme. I really hope the theme of "America" doesn't lead with the model choices. It would be so boring, especially since other countries have such exotic beauty and different features. And what American would they use on the cover? Kate Upton again?

If I see Behati or Lily in person sometime soon I will definitely ask them if they got the FB! The reaction will tell it all I saw Candice and Herman yesterday as well! They are such a beautiful couple. No pics unfortunately!

I was running errands in the East Village yesterday and I saw Candice and Herman! Didn't get a picture, but I got to say hi to her and she was super smiley and sweet! She was wearing a dark green jumpsuit with a deep v-cut, ponytail, and sunglasses. Her style is awesome! Hope to see her again soon!

I've changed my mind, I think Behati is getting the bra. She has been posting so many VS catalogue pictures of her on her Instagram, which she NEVER does. It makes me very suspicious. Perhaps she is trying to get her name out more (or was asked to). The VS instagram account has also been favoring Behati significantly with their posts, uploading pictures of her with no context really. If the 1D tour is over in October and they are dropping an album in November, they will definitely be at the VSFS. Now if only Beyonce could do it too, that would be a dream combination! I could see Iggy doing it too. Who knows. She and Ariana might perform "Problem" together.

^Nah, I think Candice would have been the choice regardless if Behati got engaged earlier. She was naturally the next in line, and they only started to promote Behati heavily towards the end of the year. It's neck in neck between Lily and Behati IMO. I'm leaning towards it being Lily, and they will save Behati's FB for after she gets married. Also, any performer guesses? Because it's in London, is it safe to guess that at least one performer will be British? I could absolutely see One Direction for the PINK segment. They are on tour, however. Anyone know their November dates? Female performer wise, I could see Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande, or Iggy Azalea. If VS pulls out the big guns maybe Beyonce...?

Hmmm, with Aline it could go either way. She's an awesome HF model and very edgy. If SI could "soften" her up I'm sure she would look spectacular! She's also a very nice, humble person. Hoping she gets it!

I doubt Barbara F. will become an angel. They seem to like using her as the fit model because her body is ideal for fittings (normally proportioned and super skinny) and she seems to have an open schedule as she isn't an busy in-demand top model like her fellow VS catwalkers/angels. They probably cast her in the show as a form of payment for her doing the fittings. How awkward would it be if she didn't get to do the show but tried on all the outfits?

Not entirely her fault, but that editorial lacks any sort of decent art direction. It looks random and pointless. Kendall's posing is great, but her face still doesn't look "present" or awake. She needs to work on her facial expressions and conveying emotions with her eyes. The best shot (IMO) is the last one because I like the posing and something seems mysterious about her expression - emotion conveyed!

I'm not saying that I personally want Kendall to walk the show, but I'm merely just analyzing the situation to stimulate discussion. You can't lie that it would be totally advantageous for VS to use Kendall, even though for us model fans it would be a travesty. I think I'll reserve my judgement if she will do the show depending on how well her next FW run is. If she only books shows sponsored by Katie Grand (like last FW), then I won't be impressed at all. But if she books lots of legit shows and does a full FW run, who knows? She might be able to surpass being a socialite.

My bets are on Kendall for the VSFS 2014 in London. It's PR heaven for VS! If they're willing to overlook Cara's bloated face and mediocre lingerie body for her fanbase and social media impact, they will definitely consider Kendall, who actually has the look. Plus she is in the exact target demographic for VS; the VS PINK instagram even reposted a picture of her wearing one of their bikini tops. Also, I can already picture all her Kardashian sisters reposting all her Instagram stuff (as they already do), so honestly it would reach millions and millions of people. Without a doubt Kendall will walk A-list shows for S/S 2015, which is usually the key to getting cast in the VSFS for new faces. They will probably stick her in PINK and ask her to whore out her Instagram/Twitter for the show. Plus I'm sure VS will be very happy to have the likes of the Kardashians and Kanye attend the show as guests, providing even more publicity. It's a win for everybody.

I like how VS has been using Ale more! Happy for her that she got to do 3 in store events. The line up seems to be stable right now. All the girls are getting used frequently and evenly, with the exception of Lindsay maybe. I'm still waiting for Gigi Hadid to do VS, I think she fits the mold. I'm also curious as to whether they will go for Kendall Jenner.

The only "official" angels (IMO) are the girls name dropped in the VSFS opening. Last year (2013) they didn't include Lais but they included Elsa...funny because in 2011 they actually did mention Lais! In 2012 she didn't walk the show due to injury so they ignored her lol

LOL that is very true too.. I saw Marloes in person a few days ago and it struck me how short she was. I saw Anja Rubik and Lais yesterday too. Anja looked a lot older/worn than I expected.

LOL I know. She doesn't even try to hide it. It's probably why they like her so much and continuously use her even though she ain't that special. I hate how all the SI girls kiss MJ's ass too.

Really really happy to see Elsa shooting mainline!! Also, I saw Adriana shooting in SoHo today! Emily DiDonato, Marloes Horst, and Jourdan Dunn were there too. I also saw Magdalena having lunch with her BF haha Adriana refused a picture again! I don't blame her though because she was technically on the job and it was super hectic. Well that's a little morbid and extreme no? Lol my thoughts exactly. Death? She just has a darker look and has a deafult face. She looks beautiful. I know if anyone else tried to be that dark and had that facial expression they wouldn't look good. Her side profile is everything though Okay I agree my comment was a bit hyperbolic. I just wished she made her MET debut more va va voom and had a greater presence! She seemed just...there. Obviously for normal people standards she looks fucking amazing, but I just find the whole look boring. She's Adriana for crying out loud! She had so much room to experiment and do something a little wacky, but ended up looking like she was attending just any ol' red carpet. Imagine her rocking a huge back-baring ball gown with amazing cleavage, a red lip, her signature alligator smile, and va va voom hair. It would have been perfect!
