Yeah, although the 2007 finale outfits were on point, the sequence itself was terrible. They should have had all the girls walk out together and dance at then end as usual. The tree was lame.

They used to make outfits just for the finale walk (2005, 2006, 2007, 2008). Nowadays the models just walk in their last outfits during the finale. I liked it when the models had similar finale outfits because it looked good for pictures. Plus the lingerie was rather basic so it put all the attention on the models at the end and looked more harmonious. 2007 had the best finale outfits because they gave all the models simple colored underwear and matching wings!

I mean yeah, her English isn't great but it's not THAT bad. Plus if she was with a few other angels she wouldn't have to talk as much. I do agree that she's not ready for a solo event, but she is certainly more than capable of doing a group event. Plus, if VS never send her for anything, how will she ever get experience or practice?!

Lais has STILL not had any VS event. It's a damn shame. (except Soul Cycle, but that's charity and doesn't really count) I also wish Behati would go back to brunette. She stood out so much more. The blonde washes her out.

Totally agree! That's why the 2005 outfits were the best. It was mostly simple lingerie, with subtle themes and design elements (only exception was probably the 'Sexy Toys' segment). I honestly wouldn't even be mad if they copy/pasted the Christmas commercial outfits lol

Wow Jasmine has a solo VS event?! That's a pretty big deal. I could totally see her becoming an angel tbh. Eventually they will dump Lais like they tend to do with all their models of color unfortunately, and Jasmine is probably gonna be the replacement. Christmas Catalog is kinda underwhelming. I'm still not onboard with Stella, and Bridget to me will always be a plainer Behati (if that was even possible lol). I like Nadine, but she makes me miss Erin tbh. The new crop of VS models is getting more and more anonymous than ever before. BTW, it is Behati on the back cover, NOT Candice.

They should just get Gigi Hadid for PINK. She ticks all the boxes. Young and very girly looking, huge social media presence, very great at speaking, and is a decent model. Damn VS it's so simple yet they fail so hard! haha

I totally disagree. This isn't ready to wear Chanel or Haute Couture. This is one of their pre-collections, which is catered specifically to foreign markets. It's the least important (or prestigious) of all Chanel shows. Cara hasn't even walked this collection, and she's Karl's main muse now. They only book a few top models and the rest are mostly filler. And no matter how much screen time you get with VS, you still get the prestige of walking the show, and arguably that could get your shoe in the door for more VS work. Lots of models literally walk the show and end up working a lot for VS, and even becoming angels in special cases (like Candice and Behati who were plucked out of nowhere, walked the shows, and became angels). Plus nowadays with blogging and the interwebz, it isn't just about the screen time during the airing. There will be BS shots, interviews, photo ops, lots of other stuff involving ALL the models. Lots of models also have commented that since walking VS, casting directors have given them an extra look. I think Maryna Linchuk said that in an interview. Plus, I'm sure it's entertaining for the models themselves! I would wanna be walking in a show with all my top models friends and celeb performers that will be airing all around the world vs. a forgettable Chanel show that will be dug into the archives of the 8 other Chanel shows every year. There is no way in hell a model will choose Chanel over VS if she is booked for both. ---------------------------------------------- And also, forget about KenDull, I wanna know if Gigi Hadid will be walking VS! She started training with Gotham Gym, which is the guy that trains many VS models who walk the show (Maryna, Sara, Shanina, Lais, for example). She's definitely gonna have to slim down a bit to fit VS, so her training with this guy now makes sense. I truly hope she walks! She would be perfect for PINK!

Are the 'abroad' Chanel shows even a big deal? I'm sure any smart model would rather do VS than a random non-FW or non-Haute Couture Chanel show. And Karl is a designer who already has his 'favorites', so it's not like walking the show gets you a chance at anything really - just a pay check. There's no way Cara would do Chanel over VS. VS gets her massive, massive exposure. Probably better for her aspiring 'acting career' to be doing VS because it puts her in the public limelight. Plus, the VS show is literally once a year. Chanel has over 8 shows every year.

That article reeks of Kris Jenner. I highly doubt they will make her an angel any time soon. They never sign girls right away without at least working with them first. And Kendall isn't even established yet as a top model in general. She will most likely walk the show in an ugly PINK outfit, and then shoot some catalogue, and they will go from there if it even gets that far. I could totally see them using her for PINK and perhaps replacing Elsa as the main PINK girl. Who knows?!

Ale was also barely mentioned in the article. There was one sentence about her. Why does she always get shaded?! haha (at least she got lots of pics, and arguably the best ones)

I liked that video A LOT! There was so much more energy and charisma in that video than in the whole editorial. And for the first time, I felt like all the girls came across as very genuine. I find it so much more interesting to see the BTS footage of the girls messing around on set, talking to each other, than anything else tbh. Love the dynamic with Adriana, Lily, and Candice. It was so much fresher than the stupid behind the scenes videos for VS where they have to push a product and act like sex bombs. I liked how Adriana spoke about aging and how she doesn't like to live a glamorous lifestyle. So much more interesting and fresh than any other interviews I have seen with the angels where all they talk about is dieting, boxing, and how they feel sexy in VS lingerie *cringes* Shame on them for cutting out Ale completely, and no interviews with Lais or Elsa

Did they shoot in two days btw? One day Adriana/Candice/Elsa/Lais and then Lily/Ale/Lais again? Maybe that's why Lais got more shots? It could have been a time constraint.

So Elsa went all the way to London to get a shot of her back printed in Vogue? The editorial needs more solo shots of Adriana and Elsa! Would have been nice to see more groupings with Adriana/Candice/Elsa too. Hard to believe that not even Demarchelier could take the angels and create useable shots.

LMAO I'm still trying to figure out why Adriana would do that. It's also extra shady because she didn't even mention Elsa's name in the caption, she just wrote "Me, Lais, and Candice" The only explanation I guess is if she wanted to keep the Vogue headline? Who knows. Whomever chose that photo should be fired too. They all look bored and/or uncomfortable.

People are willing to hate on anyone, especially at BZ these days. Dunno if it´s some kind of a trend or just a way to let out their own insecurities. Sasha is special, an Ice Princess. She´s been growing on me very strongly since Andy posted candids of hers in the Junkyard thread Rather than focusing on weight, people should be more focused on the overal beauty and charisma of the model and the way she carries herself. Skinny girls can be sexy. Fuller girls can be sexy. Anyone can be sexy, no matter curves or not. It´s about the energy, especially on runway. Totally agree with this! Natasha Poly is a prime example. In her VS days she was as skinny as a toothpick, but she knew how to use her body and walk in a way that was sexy and commanding. VS needs to focus on girls with PRESENCE. Models that make one stare (in a good way) and command attention when they walk the runway. And are people really coming for Sasha Luss because of her weight? She has way more boobs than most of the current VS angels. The only thing holding her back was her ice blonde hair. Now that she is dirty blonde, it could definitely work! Don't believe me? Nudity

I honestly don't even care for 'themes' that much anymore. I wish they would just use the same outfits that they use in the Christmas commercials and make the focus on the models, models, models, instead of the tacky themes and performers. 2005 was great because the themes were very subtle. The outfits were just simple, sexy, and let the models' bodies shine without any awkward coverings or contraptions (like there are today)

I wonder if she would even be well-received by the angels themselves. She was at Russell's party, but didn't take pics with any of the angels in attendance. She has only taken pics with Alessandra, but that is arguably because of their mutual connection to Katie Grand. I feel like Candice and Adriana would dislike her lol. And Miranda too if she were still with VS. lol

Lais has EVERYTHING going for her to be a major VS staple, but what holds her back is her English. If she can't express herself and show her personality in English, how can VS make her a spokesmodel for an American brand? I love her and she is very sweet and clearly has the look for it, but girl has to take some classes and REALLY work on that. Also doesn't help that like 99% of her friends are Brazilian. Lais has been getting more VS work than most of their actual angels, and for the past 3 years or so.

Elsa has already done 3 years of the VSFS in PINK...maybe they will put her in PINK and mainline? (like Behati in 2010 and 2011) She has to 'graduate' eventually!

I think unfortunately Sara will walk just PINK. I hope she opens or closes the segment. Elsa will likely walk mainline (thank GOD) Best robes were from 2008 IMO
