now here's a girl who can sing!

we all have our opinions, don't we! again, Grammy awards only show that you sell a lot of records. really, she's a pretty terrible singer. I personally don't see anything redeeming about her music, but as you both say, she's sold tons of records, so there are lots of people that like her music-type-thing. and the acting, I don't know. most of her movies are pretty bad. Gigli? Enough? she's done a couple of decent things, but compared to someone who can really act, I think the descrepancy becomes pretty obvious. but I'm not petitioning for her thread to be moved anywhere, don't worry!

if having a top-selling album is all it takes to make you a singer, then let's put Weird Al Yankovic in the singers section. and if being in movies is all it takes to be an actor, then let's have threads for Dennis Miller and Kathy Ireland in the actor/actress sections. JLo is hot for sure, but she can't sing or act. she's not a bad dancer, though

yeah, I've seen them flop around most impressively. certainly one of the main reasons that I'm disappointed to hear of her non-singlehood (not that I had a good way to ask her out anyhow)
