Please also take note of the background - how Antonioni delicately carved out his own "Cinquecento" painting. Vermeer was not doing differently.

Sorry to repost this videocap from "Beyond the Clouds". Bad quality, but amazing picture. Very far from the vulgaire commercials she had then to live on; so close to the Cinquecento Italian (or Dutch ?) paintings...

Yes she has incredible grace. Yes she will remain as one of the most memorable top-models, ways ahead of so many others. I live in Paris, close probably to where she lives. Why do I say so ? I know her son Diego plays at the same park as mine. Possibly one day she will be there in that park at the same I will, attending her son. Possibly my 3-years old daughter will play with Diego, unconscious of who he is, who his mother is. Just like what happened for thousands of years over this world, two kids playing together and two parents briefly smiling at each other in a sense of complicity. She would not recognize me (I'm not a people and not willing to), BUT I will not recognize her neither. As she will be so different than in all those polished and photoshopped magazines. There is no more poetry than in this idea.
