^ I have never used mine either Personally don't like when Asians are too light. I think having some color makes them look healthier and attractive. That's why I mix a dab of self-tanner and bronze with my sunscreen so I don't look like a "walking light bulb" which I have been told I look like

Do you have one of those UV umbrellas? My aunt brought me one from HK b/c she said I was getting freckles from the sun

I agree, her skin tone is a bit too light for my liking but I don't think she would look good with a darker skin tone so it does fit her.

Speaking of "White" skin, my skin is quite naturally light. One time this guy in college shout in the middle of the street "Damn, your skin is whiter than a White girl that I need shades to look at you!!!" Often times when I am in the sun too long Asian people ask me have I been using sunscreen b/c I look "dark." However most Non-Asian would ask me do I go out into the sun much b/c I look so "light". WTF...i just can't win!!!

First of all I want to reiterate beauty is in the eye of the beholder and it is subjective. I don't want to come off as everyone in China or Northern Asia agrees on this standard of beauty. It seems like the Asian market esp. in China, South Korea, Singapore, etc., consider women with oval-shaped faces, defined chins, small but high-bridged noses, light porcelain flawless skin, full lips, and large double-lid eyes, to be beautiful. It is very different than the West's standard of beauty. Which is why many of the top Asian models don't do as well in Asia as they do in the West, and vice versa.

It is mainly from viewing various Asian media, being around Asians and growing up in that part of the world Out of all the top Asian models she seems closest in appealing to the target market. Of course there are other better choices that are not well-known internationally and strictly work in Asia.

If the show is in China this year they probably would need more than one Chinese Angel/model to promote the show and do interviews with the Chinese media. Xiao Wen Ju had potential but was a disappointment at last year's show. Liu Wen is too big of name for VS. There is no way she would agree to become an Angel b/c of the restrictions and the little they would pay her. Now that I think more about it, Sui is the better choice bc she does have the look and appeal the Asian Market VS is targeting (China, HK, Macau, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, etc.)

Yes just a rumor. No Chinese Angel yet.

Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition Challenge (2017) - RESULTS
That's exactly why you should vote! It would lame and boring if there were all high scores Not only that, it would also be an inaccurate reflection of what people actually thought. Have you seen some of the scores I have given? I agree, there are a few models I like who did not live up to their potential---hence the "Effort" category. I sense complacency from some of them It is ok if you don't want to vote. I still love you regardless

+1 I think people would but too much emphasis on the color than other factors like shape, symmetry, etc.

I agree, I am a bit skeptical that Jerome would be so loose lipped. I remember I asked him a model question a few yrs ago when I met him and he pretty much told me "wait and see"

Wishful thinking but what if they signed both Ming & Sui!!! They would probably need to let go of a few Angels like Martha. She doesn't seem to be very well-received...on BZ at least I think Sui is overall a better model but Ming is a better fit for VS And yes, Sui does seem to be more popular in China and HK than Ming. Her look also has more appeal to the [Northern] Asian market

If it is true, VS didn't make the best choice. I like Sui more than Ming but Ming would be a better choice. Ming is able to pull off the sexy and seductive look better than Sui. She also seems to have more personality and energy, and her & Jo seem to work well together. Ming has been kissing up to VS by promoting Victoria Sport during her workout sessions. If I were her I would be disappointed than Sui was chosen over her. Either way I hope it is true b/c it would be great if they finally had an Asian Angell Not so much just for the sake of diversity but to make the line up more visually exciting
