  1. ^^ looks like she's still wearing a stabilizer on her right ankle. I'm positive it's her during rehearsal (yay wings ): http://i.imgbox.com/aQ1L0qLp.jpg
  2. ^ Maybe just twist her ankle or something. But talk about bad luck:/
  3. ^It looks like she's shootting another Chanel makeup tutorial I'm also beyond happy she's in the newest VS commercial
  4. So glad to see her on the runway again and she's looking beautiful & regal Knew she was in Paris for a reason, at first I was surprised she's walked for Balmain (she's done only one show for them before - for FW 2010), but after I saw the cast it made sense - so many VS angels Hopefully there's more to come...
  5. Love her newest VS photos, finally something sexier. I know she has the innocent look to her, but I got a bit tired of all this cutesy, girly aesthetic. Her social media has been quiet lately. Anybody knows if she's been shooting something for VS recently? VSFS is coming soon and I wish VS push her harder...
  6. I agree. I think darker hair makes her look more womanly and sultrier - she's gonna look even sexier for VS now.

  11. i-D interview in English (from jagaciakuniverse.tumblr.com) Your career started very early, you were 13 years old. It was an accident, a colleague of my older sister tried at modeling and went to Japan - in our little town everyone knew it was happening. I was then already 175 cm tall, so once at dinner my sister said I should try it, because it can be a fun adventure. Just before 13th birthday, I went to the audition. My mom were surprised, I never had similar dreams. At the audition I went in her high heels (laughs) and that same day I signed the contract. I wonder what would have happened if … if your sister threw this idea? I think it would have happened anyway. A few weeks after the audition I was shopping at the mall and someone came up to me, asking standard questions. It was a scout looking for models. If the Polish girl is more than 170 cm tall and is nice, the idea that she could be a model, is certain to occur. Today 12-13-year-old girls are very aware of themselves often want to try at modeling. Your whole family are athletes - dad is a coach staff in jumping upwards, sister last year was European champion in the triple jump. Also probably you are thinking about athletic career? I started to train high jump, but I wanted to see it break out. At one point I had to make a choice, decide, because if you start to train professionally, the body is changing. There was no way, I never could then go back to modeling. But sport is also shaping the attitudes of the psyche. Regular workouts probably a lot of you have given. As a result, I was more mature as a child I went to the sports camps, long time I lived older, I was stronger mentally. Today also I can not imagine life without sports. Sometimes I go to bikram yoga, but usually I run, I started to practice boxing. Every two or three days I have something to do with myself - otherwise I feel bad. Let’s go back to the moment of your first steps in the industry. You were still at school, after the first casting face for the Hermes campaign, and behind the camera of one of your first session Peter Lindbergh. How do you remember that time? It was scary, I remember the first time in my life I flew the plane for testing to Paris and totally did not realize what i was doing. I also remember how I was then dressed (laughing): I had a high ankle boots boxing, all teenagers in Poland, then were wearing. Washed jeans in the style of Dolce & Gabbana. Somehow it worked, someone saw potential in me. Fortunately, as a child I had a lot of courage, I could talk to people I did not know. Although I did not have good English, getting along, much gesticulating hands. So you'ree 13 years, and the world around you begins to spin faster, there are new prospects, you start to believe in this wonderful dream, but suddenly burst out a storm. In an environment wake of controversy, some people think that you are too young, that your presence on the catwalk this sexualisation of fashion. Your name becomes a symbol of improper treatment models by the industry - it had to be aggravating. The most they attacked me in front of the Australian fashion Week and - truth be told - that was the only occasion when i felt. Earlier in Japan, the fact that I am 13-14 years old, it was absolutely normal. All models working there are very young. In Europe, sometimes with the allegations, but Australia was a serious mistake of my agency. I had no awareness of what was happening. I saw an article on the Internet, I received a phone call from the agency not to talk to the media. I was surprised that i came to my town & there was journalist who followed me with the camera, when I went to school, and took a picture of me in uniform! Then I began to think that working at that age, maybe is not quite normal - although on the other hand, everything depends on how it looks. Cara recently spoke very harshly about photographers insulting models. In one sentence she says bluntly: “Some photographers are here only because of the girls”. It probably happens, I was lucky enough that from the beginning I worked with the best people, both in Poland and in the world. Sometimes flown with my mother, I felt safe. And how you rate the whole situation now, from a distance, from the perspective of a young woman who knows and understands more. The age limit is an individual matter. Mentally I was ready for this job, I had such a character. But I also think that if I now had a choice, i’d begin a moment later. Work on English and communication with people on the set. Because I started so early, it was hard for them to become a partner. I would like from the beginning to show all the great people I’ve worked with who I am and what my character. The industry for two years to forgot about your existence, during that time you could rebel, change the direction … Clearly I was told that I can not do big things, but I was prepared to return, did less important sessions. For the first time in my life I earned, I thought rationally, that even if it did not work out, I have set aside money for college. Until 2009 you came along on the catwalk in New York and Milan fashion weeks, the important shows, for example. Prada. Moments later, you became the face of Calvin Klein - the personification of backlash and modernity. It was a great start, but with Calvin Klein it was not the right way (laughs). I remember that before the shows for the first time I went to New York with an agent. Steven Meisel saw my pictures and I booked my session withCK Jeans. With him you never know, often changes his mind, so I tried to keep calm, but when I appeared on the set, it seemed that I do not have 16 years. Ouch! It did not work had to return to Poland. I consoled myself, thinking: “Nothing happened.” Six months later it turned out that history repeats itself. They remembered me and invited me to Calvin Klein advertising campaign. You’ve become the new face of the season, we all know who you are, strangers recognize you on the street. How does it feel? Strange. When I look at my Instagram and see that almost 400 thousand people following me, I can not believe it. I hope that if someone thinks of me as a well-known person, you read an interview and are interested in what I have to say. I am aware that this is a potential that can be fun to use. On the occasion of charity. I have a million ideas on what I could do - the last dream of my programs about travel, some time ago I was thinking about studying in the Poznan School of Form, I also plan to study Design in New York, but this for some time. Now you join the ranks of the Victoria’s Secret angels, did you get the next summit. It’s a completely different aesthetic, a different idea on modeling. Do you have ambitions and plans? I’ve never had anything like a plan for myself in fashion, because here it is difficult to plan something. I never had a dream to become an angel of Victoria’s Secret. I’m happy I was appreciated, but it is the role - privately i’m someone else. Now my ambition is to show that I can do two completely different things. Being in commerce, for example. Walk in such shows as Victoria’s Secret or do H & M catalogs, and at the same time develop the artistic side, or back to work with such photographers as Patrick Demarchelier, Paolo Roversi either. These are the people with whom I worked in the beginning. Then I felt intuitively that session is happening something fantastic, but I did not have such knowledge of fashion, to be appreciated. Now I feel more mature, I think that the session could give each other a lot more. Previously I represented the attitude of teenagers - buy to wear two three times and make a lasting impression and then get bored and put it aside. Now I pay attention to the things that I can wear for years. I like to search for a vintage clothes Chanel or Dior. My style every day is loose, often wear black: jeans, T-shirt, leather jacket … clothes from designers a mix of of things with chain stores. What do you think you’ll be doing in 10 years? You will work in modeling? It is possible now extremely are changing canons, 30-year-old model do not wonder anybody .. But it can be bored? I’ve already got bored million times and then I made a break for two or three months. The biggest crisis was two years ago, I wrote a high school diploma, moved to Warsaw, I was in love and wanted to cut off from everything, live a little. I had to stop and think what really is important in life to me. I often talk with my older girls and it turns out that the age of 20-21 years is that moment when suddenly you realize what you expect from life. Then you just really mature. I had herself come to this, or that I want to be a model, this is my own ambition, or maybe the expectations of other people who push me to do so. It sounds crazy, but if you work intensely for 16 years, it is not so obvious. Coming back to your question - I have a very simple plan: I would like to have a family (smile).

  13. Hi Dalia! She's definitely a host, but I think the show is also her idea as she mentioned her inspiration was Anthony Bourdain. It's gonna be a travel show: she will visit places where many Poles migrated to and talk with them about meaning of being Polish and feelings toward Poland. It's definitely gonna be Polish-centric show Edit:pilot was shot in her Warsaw apartment with her friends
  14. I think it's interesting, I'm not from poland, but is nice to see how's the life of people from x culture living in a different one. I like the idea, especially because Jac told she's patriotic and wants to fight with negative stereotypes about Poles. My girl <3
  15. ^ If she's gonna talk with Polish emigrants I'm positive she will talk with the recent ones, so Poles in the UK and Ireland are the most likely subject. Migration of young people to the UK is important current issue here in Poland and it concerns people from Jac's generation. Mass migration to the US is rather thing from the past and anything regarding Polish - Israeli relations is a touchy subject people prefer to avoid.
  16. I've got the magazine and there're some news about Jac in the article: she's working on her own TV show (she's gonna travel to places with large number of Polish immigrants and ask them about their opinion/relationship with Poland) and she has a new boyfriend, whom she doesn't want to talk about, the only thing she mentioned about him is that he's older. Jac's also a NY resident now.
