I think you're thinking to far into it. Remember that while Victoria's Secret emphasizes their models more than any other company, they do not base their campaigning strategies on said models. They chose a nice, catchy slogan and had a model (Doutzen) display the product. I am positive their marketing strategy was not based on their opinions of Doutzen's weight, that would be an incredibly juvenile thing for a company to do. Not to mention, the slogan emphasized "looking great", so they chose a model who looked great.

^Thanks. And if MDC doesn't include catwalking, why would Abbey Lee have moved up? I mean, her campaign season wasn't that impressive especially in comparison to her runway season. And runway should determine placing because some girls are just too fantastic to look away from on the runway but they don't pack the same punch in ads.

^And she's had a great start to the season in NY.

^ She deserves it! I'm tired of the dull, forgettable girls that are becoming big in this industry (cough, Sigrid, cough). Girls like Jac are much more talented and interesting to look at. Not to mention she's simply fantastic.

^Hopefully we'll see some new images later on... ? I would love to see Anna remain the face of the brand. She deserves a lucrative contract with them.

According to models.com, it's from the SS 10 campaign. Which means five campaigns for Anna J even though she didn't walk that season.
