thank you for the pictures! I love seeing old makeup advertisements, I really like the Estee Lauder above. My mom used Estee Lauder back in the 80s and 90s (sometimes still does), I will have to show her some of these. I like Paulina, she seems like she was a great model and I like that she is still around, I just saw something about her recently on my Bing homepage.
She's just released her Biography.

@ser_franklin Thanks for all these wonderful finds. I've also got that Next Directory from Winter 88. It's wonderful isn't it? I'd forgotten all those shots of Stephanie inside.

The model in 6 & 7 is quite stunning too. Wonder who she is?

@PIRA! Yes, it was that one. I managed to find my copy more easily than I imagined. I thought I'd be rummaging in the attic for hours.

Does anyone have a scan of a magazine interview she gave tat the end of the nineties where she talked about passing on the mantle to a new generation of models. The only reason I ask is because it was a really wistful interview where she was kind of marking the end of her era and maybe that of the 90s supermodels.
I'm sure it was in a mens magazine. I recall actually owning it but I've so much stuff at this point, I wouldn't know where to look. Maybe Arena or GQ UK?

No, I don't think so. I recall this photo came up before on here and was considered to be someone else.

Awesome. A young Elle, back when the oceans weren't full of plastic waste.

no worries, my pleasure. I have a lot more to share, but i've been refraining from doing so as much as i could have/wanted to because there is a very annoying Instagram page named stephseymour.rare which clearly takes my scans from here (as well as other people's scans) and watermarks them with their own Instagram page name as if those pictures belong to them when they didn't buy the magazines those pictures come from (some of those old "rare" mags are really pricey, i can attest for that), nor did they scan any of those pictures themselves. I don't mind anyone sharing my scans at all, on the contrary i support that (as a matter of fact, my previous profile name here is brazilianaffair, all those scans are mine too), but for someone else to just slap their name on them like they had anything to do with the fact that those scans even exist it's a different thing, and it's rude, when i am the one who spent the big bucks to get those mags and catalogues, and who took the time to scan and share them. Sorry for the rant, it's not directed to you, but I know that that person takes my scans from here because this is the only place I post them. If anyone wants to share them on thefashionspot or other forums please do, i don't have a profile there, just please don't claim them as your own. Or buy and scan your own mags. Thanks
This is something that that has bothered me for a long time. I see my scans on Pinterest and Listal all the time (under someone else's name).
I've spent four or five thousand dollars in the last few years on rare magazines. It's really disheartening but there is nothing at all you can do about it.

Is the unknown model the one in the first picture?

Oh my god! I've seen that film back in the day. I always wondered who it was.
Makes perfect sense now.

Here are Marc Hispard's shots for Stephanie. Costa Careyes, Mexico in 1989.
They are the originals from the SI archives.
