These two weeks are gonna go so slow. I know it. Always leading up to something your excited for feels like forever. Like Christmas used to feel when i was a kid. LOL. Well VS Fashion Show is basically Christmas for me

I hope this year that with PINK they dont just give the girls one walk each. I like to see all the girls have 2+ walks so we get to see them more. I'm interested to see if Rosie and Candice will still be apart of PINK. I'm sure Lindsay will and maybe Chanel. But also have an extra 1 or 2 walks somewhere else. But will Candice and Rosie be pushed up somewhere else. I can definately see Rosie not doing PINK anymore. She's done it since 2006 i think its fair for her to do some other segments. And maybe Candice can do it again one more year. Wonder if they will bring in Flavia again. Cause i dont want to see her in PINK anymore either.

Dri isn't retiring anytime soon, she's said so herself (while she's been pregnant) and VS is already preparing for her huge comeback next year, from what Monica Mitro's office told Lima-Fans. They couldn't give a lot of details, but they are working with her to be the big comeback event(s) next year. Also she just signed a new 5 year contract next year, along with a 5 year beauty contract earlier this year, which means she'll at least be around for 7 more years, so she's not retiring. (Seriously how many times have people written this lol) Miranda there have been rumors for a year a half that VS and her aren't clicking, and Doutzen, well all the signs are their. I don't think they'll be around much longer I think realistically we're looking at this line up. Along with Keeping Ale, I think their keeping their most famous faces, Adriana, Ale and Marisa and then adding some great spokesmodels so they really get the best of both worlds. Adriana Alessandra Marisa Emanuela Candice Chanel Lindsay Rosie As much as i dont want it that way it sure does look like that. I do not think Doutzen or Miranda will be sticking around however they both i think will land on their feet fine. Doutzen is still working for Loreal and i'm sure will get plenty more campaigns no problem. And Miranda is huge here in Australia. No matter what i know she will get work. She already is the spokesperson for David Jones and she has been working up an awesome High Fashion storm lately so hope to see some more from her. And Heidi will just continue doing what she normally does. I think that hiring Lindsay and Chanel was to target the young American girl. Not necessarily PINK girls cause they have Behati for that. I think they wanted some young American spokesmodels cause they havent got any. For an american brand the only american model they had was Marisa. So the two of them i think is actually a smart move for the company. Its saying that the young girls dont only have to be into PINK they can go for more sexier lingerie as well. Rosie, Emanuela and Candice definately have the glamour sex appeal that Adriana, Gisele etc had. I think hiring them was an awesome idea and hope that these girls do very well in the company. I'm kind of hoping that if Doutzen and Miranda do finish with VS it would be on good terms so we could still possibly see them each year at the show

I guess we will see how it all pans out. I mean you never know. Maybe they want this much. We dont know how their mind works. Maybe this is the group of girls they want for VS. I'm just hoping some news comes soon in regards to the show. Like fittings and stuff. Wanna see if they will release pictures of the new girls doing fittings. I hope so

I think like she will be the girl they will use everywhere. IT like she will be their new main face. Look at all her time in the commercial. And she even has a main pic on the facebook page which none of the new angels have other then her Marisa, Miranda, Doutzen, Alessandra and Adriana. So i can definately see her being big in VS.

My order of girls would be... 1. Miranda 2. Alessandra 3. Rosie 4. Candice 5. Adriana 6. Emanuela 7. Heidi 8. Doutzen 9. Marisa 10. Lindsay 11. Chanel Of the five new angels Rosie is my favourite. I was hoping she'd get picked. She is stunning and its about time there is a Brit Angel lol . And Tori i think in terms of models in general no one knows who they are. The models of today arent the same. I'd say VS is the only thing that is exclusives to mnodels only. Campaigns, editorials, covers, cosmetic contracts etc all celebrities get now a days. So people dont know models in general. The general public know Heidi and Tyra because of their shows and all they have done. To be honest the main reason everyone knows Gisele and Kate is because of their lives are in tabloids. Before them the last known supermodels were known for being models not who they dated. I know people will kill me for saying this but to be honest Gisele became more known in the public eye because she was dating Leo. You can say thats wrong but im sorry its true. Look at Bar same thing happened to her. No one knew who she was until she started dating Leo and her career sky rocketed. That's really the only reason people know mdoels these days. Because if they are in the tabloids then they are known.

Agreed. And i see plenty of potential in some of the new girls. They are all great models. All amazing personalities and fun to watch on the runway. I think also the new crop of girls seem like they would be great spokesmodels. I'm actually very excited to see how this will all pan out now lol...

I guess only time will tell. Last year it was kind of obvious after Izabel that KK and Selita werent gonna be around anymore. But at the moment i dont feel that. Doutzen, Marisa and Miranda have been used alot and seem very important to the company. Not how the others were at the time of their departuse. I know that they are not gonna get rid of them the moment the show is over so if mid next year we start to see less and less of the three of them then it would be more obvious they are pushing them out. It's gonna be interesting with what they are gonna do with them in the show now. I mean will each girl have three walks or maybe some two like how Miranda and Marisa were in 2007. Alessandra - 3 Doutzen - 3 Marisa - 3 Miranda - 3 Candice - 3 Rosie - 3 Emanuela - 2 Chanel - 2 Lindsay - 2 I think thats how they will probably walk. And not all of them will get wings either.

Yeah i see your point Tori. I mean they are not just gonna fire them right after the show. I mean really Doutzen and Marisa are still relatively new as angels. Maybe two years while Miranda has three. I agree about all her recent work too. She's been on fire and especially because its mainly been HF i hope to see more of her. Thats kind of why i see Miranda sticking with VS. She is becoming a pretty big name and i dont see them getting rid of her right at her prime if that makes sense. Doutzen has been in HF for ages and has settled down with VS and Loreal. But i dont think she has become as big as they wanted her to be. Not at the level that all the other angels are at. Well this will be an interesting show. Heidi is hosting and its the debuet of 5 new angels. One of them we have never seen walk a VS Show either. So it will be interesting.

I can definately see Rosie being their new IT girl. She was the only one who has been all over the facebook page with her picture being their main picture and she had the whole shoot for herself on VS Site for Vintage collection. I knew her and Candice and Emanuela were definite angels.

Yeah i really wanted Rosie, Candice and Emanuela to be angels. I was hoping that this year would be there year as angels. I just had a feeling that the three of them would be. Lindsay i think is kind of cool to have a young American model. She's really pretty and was apart of a huge launch this year with Body so i thought ok. I like Chanel but if i had to choose i wouldnt keep her. I dont know just dont see her as an Angel. But still havent seen her in a show yet. My only problem with Lindsay and Chanel is they are way too skinny.

Man i cant believe this. I'm so happy for all the girls. I mean i dont care how many angels there are. The more the merrier. I knew Candice, Rosie and Emanuela were definties but i didnt think Lindsay or Chanel would be. But good for them. I like them both. I like Heidi but im fine with her finishing with the company. But i dont want Miranda or Doutzen to go anywhere. The two of them are amazing for VS. Especially Miranda for me. I think cause she is from Aus it makes me love her more. I dont necessarily think there needs to be girls leaving. I mean only back in 2007 there was Ale,Adri,KK,Heidi,Izabel,Selita,Miranda and Marisa who were all contracted angels. And sure after that they finished but that was a whole heap of girls. I think its great to have a variety of different girls. I just had this feeling that Rosie was definately gonna be made an Angel and im so happy.

So do we know when fittings are happening. I remember last year the show was filming November 15th and the fittings were like October 29th or 30th cause it was right before Heidi's Halloween party. Well this year the show is filming four days after so on the 19th. So i'd say maybe Novemeber 4th or 5th will be the fittings. Hope to get pictures like we did last year.

I like the idea of Heidi hosting. I mean come on do you prefer they make it some celeb hosting like they did back in 2001 and 2002. Why make some celeb take time away from the angels when you can give it to Heidi. I have a feeling that Adriana might participate in the model search or something. But i mean she's heavily pregnant so im thinking like lost sould said that she pre taped something. We will see. Maybe she will be just in attendance or something

Very true Pink lol. I know not everyone will agree with me but there is alot of negativity in general... Ive read some posts on TFS. Major negativity. But thats expected really.

Am i the only one who got the whole idea of the Commercial. I do agree with dizzymisslizzy about the trains, car, chopper etc kind of being the same. But the whole theme obviously with VS this year is Fantasy. What describes Christmas more then Fantasy. Come on Christmas is all about fantasy and fun. Thats the point they are getting with this ad. Just cause there isnt santa or xmas music playing doesnt mean it has nothing to do with it. And why there is explosions etc is because there are 1000 Fantasie's or whatever. And they are showing different fantasies being played out. Do they flow not really but i get the concept they were going for. Especially with the circus, pool table, desert stuff. I think that's what the whole Christmas Season with VS is about this year. Fantasy...

I think maybe the track fits in with the fantasy/circus action of the commercial. Especially cause the Joker in Batman is essentialy something from a circus. It might tie in with the theme of the show. Maybe they are going with another super hero theme this year. I mean there was mention of a metal cape being made. Capes usually signify superhero...And it can all tie in with the idea of a circus. I think the whole theme this year in general with VS is Fantasy. And circus, superhero etc are all Fantasy.

I def think Rosie and Candice are angels in the making. I think maybe Lindsay and Chanel are kind of like how Angela and Oluchi were in the Holiday 2004 Commercial. Kind of extra girls who will be used plenty with them...I like the shoot it looks really good. Cant wait to see how the show will look. Oh and did u see Rosie with wings in one of the shots. Hope she gets a pair. I have a feeling i mean it might happen, might not but Rosie was used heavily in the ad's. I mean more so then Miranda and Marisa. Maybe when the show airs she will be announced as a new Angel. I also really liked that shot at the end of the third video. Marisa, Lindsay, Alessandra, Miranda, Rosie and Doutzen all sitting and surrounding that table. I would like to be a dinner guest there lol...
