Yeah I loved Sigid this year. Last year she was just a boring blonde in a section. Her walks were amazing this year.

We've seen girls come in quick. So Stella isn't surprising. Happened with Lily and Miranda they walked their first shows and then bam their Angels. So it could happen with Stella. I think she should work another year. VS are testing the waters now more than ever. Because they've had girls come in who everyone hates. Doutzen will be hard to fill if she is indeed gone. Time will tell.

^ yeah they really need to. The creating a name just doesn't work anymore. They did it very well with Candice. Rosie was also close but because she left early it ruined that and then they've also done it with Behati. Before that they had Miranda, Adriana and Alessandra. It's not that it doesn't happen, it's just becoming a lot harder for these girls to make it big during their VS run. I think they should really spend their money on getting themselves a major fashion girl. They did it with Chanel and it failed. Karlie I love but people sadly don't seem to care for her. But I feel like VS always make the wrong choices. They have girls like Toni, Joan or Jourdan to pick from and they make the wrong choices.

I think Joan is amazing. She had the best two walks in the show. Finally they gave her a really good look with Angel Ball. Her looks since she made her debut haven't been amazing. But this one was her best look and walk. And I love that her walk was focused on in AB and it was strong. Reminded me of the good old days. If I was VS she would be who I invest my time in for Angel instead of Lais or Jasmine. But like I've said before VS only want one or two established girls. They prefer to create their girls but the last few just haven't been working. Just go and hire girls who are already top models VS. Even though I'm sure that will cost them more.

Maybe they're doing a new ad and Russel is directing. Meh who knows with VS.

I get that. If anything VS were very lenient with Doutzen. They let her do L'Oréal like you said and negotiate her contract a year or two ago so she could do H&M. Most people would say go away but they let her do that. So they definitely did not hate her.

Lol I understand you guys are upset. I'm a huge Doutzen fan too but I don't see how VS treated her badly. Sure she wasn't a girl who opened the show, or she didn't get the fb. But she's had a really good VS career. She always had great screen time in the ads, she was amazing in catalogue. She got a Christmas cover. She's always had 3 of the best looks each show, has opened segments, closed segments, closed the show. She never was shafted like girls in the past. VS never treated her badly. Sure she didn't get the top Angel spot but she had a very good steady career with VS. And like you mentioned she has so many other contracts. She doesn't need VS anymore. Candice was much like Adriana and Alessandra. VS is what their sole focus was on. Gisele, Miranda, Doutzen had VS but had so many other things that they don't need VS for their careers.

Miranda only wore it once. And officially she was an angel before Doutzen so her getting the bra isn't an issue.

So whoever was watching that Dutch show did she say they have decided not to renew or they're still negotiating? This is gonna get confusing. I guess now we wait and see for the aftermath.

That would be pretty shitty of her to talk about if her contract didn't expire for another year or two. But I think it's something that recently happened. Her contract based on when she signed should have been up end of last year during this year. Her pregnancy probably allowed her a bit of extra time with VS and then they decided to not work together anymore. They might have said walk the show as a last hoorah kind of thing.

No Doutzen won't walk VS again. Like Gisele and Miranda, Doutzen is known for being an Angel and then more. She isn't like Izabel, Selita, Lindsay, Erin who can walk the show and it's no fuss.

My assumption is her contract was up during this year. Maybe beginning or middle. And they won't say goodbye right in the middle of her pregnancy. So they let her stay out of her contract for the show and then they parted ways. That's what i'm thinking anyway.

Agreed. It's something they have done for ages now. Just trying to figure if maybe Elsa is considered Doutzen or Lindsay's replacement. If anything I would say Doutzen.
