'America's Got Talent' Judge Heidi Klum Reveals Her Own Hidden Talents http://www.intouchweekly.com/stars/news/americas-got-talent-heidi-klum-hidden-talents Heidi Klum does it all. The former supermodel, 39, is a mother of four, fashion designer, businesswoman and a new judge on America's Got Talent— but Heidi’s got some hidden talents of her own that even her biggest fans might not know about. “I was a dancer for 15 years— I did jazz, ballet, tap and belly dancing, because for some reason, belly dancing is really huge in Germany,” the beauty tells In Touch. But that’s not all! “People also say that I yodel pretty well,” the AGT judge tells the mag. “Recently, someone yodeled in an audition and I was like, 'Dude, listen to this…!' I sent him home to work on his yodeling!” Heidi also admits that she’s pretty domestic. Aside from making sure she has time to play with her kids— Leni, 8, Henry, 7, Johan, 6, and Lou, 3— by jumping on the trampoline or swimming with them, she makes sure to feed them well by giving them a taste of their roots. “I cook for my kids,” she says. “I have a lot of German recipes that I can make— schnitzel, meatballs and things with cabbage, but I’m bad at baking!” In a nutshell, Heidi isn’t perfect after all… but she comes pretty darn close. The Secret Behind Heidi Klum's Silky Mane and the One Reality Show She Can't Stop Watching http://www.okmagazin...lums-silky-mane When you think of Heidi Klum, you instantly think of her insanely shiny, gorgeous, blonde hair—or at least I do. Sure, she's got a killer bod, a contagious charm, and a wardrobe that any woman would envy, but she's also got some of the best locks in Hollywood, which is why I had to grill her on all things beauty in our recent interview. Read on for her secrets! OK!: Clear Hair Care held a “Right End” Hair Revolution event in LA recently, encouraging women to pay more attention to their scalp—why did you decide to partner with this brand? Heidi Klum: I tried the products before I joined and I think they're great because they do what they promise—make your hair stronger and more beautiful. Everyone always thinks about split ends, but once they are split the only thing you can do is cut them, no matter what product you use. I think you can help that by feeding your hair through the scalp and Clear does that. OK!: What's your favorite product in the line? HK: The 7 Day Intensive Treatment. I use it twice a month and it makes my hair softer and silkier. OK!: Clear did a recent study that says 99% of the hair’s natural strength and beauty comes from the scalp, where else do you think your strength and beauty comes from? HK: From eating right. You are what you eat and that's so important; you have to eat right. OK!: You've worn a lot of different hairstyles in your career, which trends do you consider the most timeless? HK: I've cut my bangs and grown them out so many times—I do love them—but for me, I like my hair long. I feel more feminine with longer hair. Maybe it’s the girly girl in me, but I like to play with my hair and I can also do more things with it when it's long. Last week I made it really curly, and I love it dead straight or slicked back tight in a bun. It also depends on what I’m wearing. OK!: Has there ever been one trend that you loved on others, but didn't like on yourself? HK: I do love those cute little braids that people have, but they just don't look good on me. I think, yes, my name is Heidi and I should be on a dirt road in braids, in the mountains, but it looks wrong. OK!: What's your get-ready routine? HK: Most of the time, I wash my hair and condition it, grab a big pair of sunglasses and run out of the house. If I have a meeting, then I would put on a little bit of base, blush, mascara, and a lip gloss. OK!: I want to talk to you about America’s Got Talent. How has it been working with Mel B? HK: I love Mel, Howie, and Howard. They are a lot of fun and we make each other laugh all day. Everyone is always on time, which I also love. It’s not really about us though. It’s about whoever is the act that is on the stage, but we are having a really good time. OK!: What was the transition like for you? To go from hosting to judging? HK: It's definitely different than anything I’ve ever done before, but I do enjoy it. I love looking at amazing, goofy acts all day and judging them. I feel like I have good taste. I've seen a lot of things in the 20 years I've been traveling around the world, from any music act to every cirque de le show, to everything that you can watch in Vegas. You name it, I’ve seen it. I get bored quite fast, so if there's an act on stage and it’s boring, it’s getting an X quick. OK!: Do you watch any other reality shows? HK: I don’t watch a lot of television, but I do like Wipeout. I watch that with my kids, they love it. OK!: Speaking of your kids, Mother’s Day is coming up—what’s the best present you’ve ever received? HK: My kids made these painted clay pots for me that had a flower planted inside. I thought they were really cute because they lasted. OK!: How will you be spending the holiday this year? HK: We will probably be home barbecuing or something like that. We have a beautiful garden, so we will probably just do that. Eat a lot and hang out. OK!: And we have to talk about your famous Halloween party. Are you doing it again this year? HK: Of course! I already know what I’m going to wear; I’m all prepared.- Heidi Klum
60 Seconds With Heidi Klum: "I Love to Push the Envelope" http://www.fabsugar....-Looks-30228560 We caught up with Project Runway host Heidi Klum at an event in LA recently, and the model-mom gave us the scoop on all things style. From her favorite red-carpet looks to what it was like to collaborate with John Galliano at the 2008 Oscars to how she unwinds at home, Heidi didn't spare any detail. And are you're wondering about her beauty routine? Click here now. POPSUGAR: What's your most memorable red-carpet fashion moment? Heidi Klum: Definitely John Galliano [for Christian Dior] made a beautiful red dress for the Oscars — it was made for me. So much fabric in the way he draped it around the shoulders. It was stunning how he made this dress. I really felt like Cinderella. That was probably one of my favorite dresses. Obviously, I've had many different dresses, but sometimes it's a dream of mine to have this fairy-tale princess moment. And that was my fairy-tale princess moment to wear that gigantic red dress. PS: What was the process of collaborating with Galliano like? HK: He drew it, and then he did the sketches, and it was just so big. Armani has made beautiful dresses for me, but they were closer to the body. I do that most of the time. Another one I loved was in Cannes, that Marchesa made — it was very see-through, but on the most important parts, it had embroideries. It was very beautiful. PS: How do you go about picking an outfit for the red carpet? HK: I just fall in love with certain outfits. I see it and I fall in love with it, then I have to have it. If it's a great suit or a beautiful gown or short minidress, there's always something that makes it a little different. I don't love safe dresses. I always wear the opposite. I love to push the envelope. I don't mind experimenting with more volume or unusual cuts. I always go for that more than a conservative dress. PS: What do you wear when you're at home with the kids? HK: I love long skirts, long dresses to the floor. I have many different colors, red, charcoal, gray — they're always easy with flip-flops. I try to stay away from sweats. Or sometimes if I go for a hike with black leggings on and a t-shirt, I stay like that for the rest of the day. If I'm at home, I'm in more comfortable jeans. I try not to look too schlumpy. I get rid of those things so I don't get tempted. Would you say you leave the heels for events? HK: Yes. It's easy to walk on the soccer field in heels. What are your favorite flats? HK: I do love Newbark flats. I love regular flip-flops with punk studs on them. Giuseppe Zanotti flats, gladiator flats.- Heidi Klum

Heidi Klum: "One of My Biggest Beauty Products Are My Sunglasses" http://www.bellasugar.com/Heidi-Klum-Hair-Makeup-Tips-30197200 As a longtime model and TV personality, Heidi Klum knows a thing or two about putting her best face forward. And Heidi, the spokesperson for Clear Scalp and Hair Beauty Therapy, recently shared with us a few beauty tips and tricks she's garnered over the years. Find out her favorite products, her go-to look, and a what fashion accessory she counts as a beauty must have when you keep reading. POPSUGAR: What have you learned about hair care from working with Clear? Heidi Klum: "What I thought was amazing is that no one has thought of nourishing the scalp before. Once the hair is already split, it's split. You have to cut it. But because I have colored hair, I think it's especially important to nourish hair from the scalp. Even if you don't color your hair, it's good to do that, because your hair gets stronger and shinier. You're basically feeding your scalp and therefore your hair." PS: Do you like playing with your hairstyles? HK: "I always like to play with my hair, with my styles, and haircut — I go from bangs to growing it out again. I usually cut it and then I want to grow it out immediately! I think hair is our accessory. It's like a great pair of shoes, like a great purse, or a bracelet. So I think you should take care of your hair and play with it and not always have it the same. You don't always want to wear the same shoes or the same handbag either, so I think it's fun to change it up." PS: What's your go-to look when you're not working? HK: "When I go on the red carpet or if I go to dinner, I dress up. I always try to do something special with my hair. When I'm just running around during the daytime, not so much. I'm usually wash-and-wear; I put it in a bun or ponytail." PS: Any makeup tips for the real woman? HK: "What I think is most hard for women is to find the right foundation. I think the BB creams really help because they're much lighter with SPF, and they have coverage. My favorite is from a European company called Astor. It enhances your beauty, but it's not necessarily completely covering you up. You don't have to go crazy and wear too much makeup. Just pick a brown or shimmery eye shadow, always a little bit of mascara, and I think an eyelash curler is key. Have a nice glossy lip, and maybe a little rosy cheek. If you have a special date night or event, then try a little bit more with a cat eye or something, but not too much." PS: What's your favorite skin care product? HK: "I do like Mario Badescu Buttermilk Moisturizer ($18) because I don't like a lot of perfume on the skin. It's not very complicated and fake and heavy." PS: Is there a beauty product you always have in your handbag? HK: "Not really so much but I have a lipstick that I like, just to have a bit of sheen on the lips so they don't look too dry. I'm low maintenance. One of my biggest beauty products are my sunglasses."- Heidi Klum

Heidi Klum chats making time for family and exercise despite her busy schedule http://wonderwall.msn.com/tv/heidi-klum-chats-making-time-for-family-and-exercise-24642.gallery Heidi Klum isn't just a supermodel. She's also a super-mom. In addition to raising her four children, ages 3 to 8, and appearing in three reality-TV shows, she also manages a constantly growing empire of fashion and lifestyle brands -- and manages to look damn good doing it! So what's her secret? "I plan ahead," she told reporters of managing her busy schedule while promoting "America's Got Talent." "My fitness is suffering a little bit because myself always comes last." That may come as a surprise to anyone who's caught a picture of the German beauty's fit physique of late. But just like all working moms, Heidi struggles to build her exercise routine around her mommy duties. "On Sundays, [my kids] do gymnastics, and while they do gymnastics, I do an hour [of exercise]," she said. "I try to incorporate gymnastics and working out a little bit into my everyday routine. Like over the weekend, we were at home playing in the pool, [so I did] a few laps with the kids. We have a big trampoline outside. We have two German shepherds, and I take them on walks. It's incorporating that into my daily life." That's the No. 1 piece of advice the single mom would like to impart to her fellow busy moms: "Try to work it into your daily routine," she said. "That's how I do it. It's hard -- you have to get dinner on the table and get your kids to school, make their lunchboxes, everything. It's hard! So you have to try to make it work somehow for yourself." Heidi's exercise routine isn't the only thing that's taken a backseat to her full-time job as a mom: "I don't do spas and any of that stuff," she said. "I haven't shopped in a long time. I am with my family, and my weekends are always off. "Usually when I work, I'm done by 5 o'clock so that I can be home and be there for dinner and spend time [with my kids] and all of that," Heidi says. The supermodel has even devised a foolproof strategy for avoiding working from home after hours. "When I come home, I leave my bag by the door with all of its gadgets," she said. "I try not to be on any of the devices in the house anymore. I think that's important because sometimes the emails and the iPhones and BlackBerrys overtake your life. I try to get a little bit back to basics and push that away. Otherwise, it's too much." If only we all had so much will power!- Heidi Klum

Way to go, Heidi! A true supermodelhero! Supermodel Heidi Klum rescues family on Oahu http://www.hawaiinewsnow.com/story/21850200/supermodel-heidi-klum-rescues-family-on-oahu A relaxing vacation turned dangerous for Heidi Klum and her family who had been on Oahu for the past week. Entertainment Tonight obtained the exclusive photos of Supermodel and TV host Heidi Klum swimming into the ocean to grab her seven year old son Henry who reportedly got caught in a rip current Sunday. Klum is seen pulling her son to shore. She was also photographed helping pull one of her two nannies to safety. Her boyfriend/bodyguard was also seen catching his breath after the incident. In an exclusive statement to US Weekly Klum said, "We got pulled into the ocean by a big wave. Of course, as a mother, I was very scared for my child and everyone else in the water. Henry is a strong swimmer and was able to swim back to land. We were able to get everyone out safely." An emergency call to 911 was not made. There were no reported injuries. Lifeguards think the incident happened at Papailoa Beach where there was a high surf advisory yesterday with 10-15 foot waves and a strong north wind. "It was definitely not a day for surfing. It was very ugly and rough and challenging," said Jim Howe, Operations Chief, Ocean Safety & Lifeguard Services. Papailoa is a remote area on the North Shore near Haleiwa. It has just one public access, limited parking and is a restricted area surrounded by expensive homes. It has potential for big waves breaking close to shore which causes the riptides. "There is always going to be the possibility of someone being knocked down and dragged back into the ocean. All that water has to move back out to sea and that's where the rip currents or the long shore currents come into play and there was strong evidence of that coming into play at many spots on the North Shore yesterday," said Howe. As for Klum's lifeguard skills, the pros complimented her and may even give her an award for her actions. "My North Shore lieutenant suggested we give Ms. Klum one of what we call our Merit Awards for rescuing her loved ones. I think we might find a way to send her one. We'll see if she'll accept it or not," said Howe. "I think what we'd like to say to Ms. Klum and her family is congratulations on being such a good mom and so vigilant, and being Johnny on the spot to stop a situation that could have been much worse." It shows Klum is much more than a pretty face.- Heidi Klum

Heidi Klum’s Skin Care Secret — Her Best Beauty Tips http://hollywoodlife...skin-care-tips/ Supermodel, Project Runway host and Executive Producer, and now America’s Got Talent judge Heidi Klum is know for her stunning body and gorgeous skin. She spoke to HollywoodLife.com exclusively at the launch of her New Balance collection and told us how she looks so fabulous at 39-years-old! Heidi Klum: No Makeup, No Problem “I tend to not wear make-up on my off days. I am not complicated, I don’t have tons of creams or anything like that. I stay simple,” Heidi told HollywoodLife.com. To keep that rocking body, she credits keeping up with her kids! “If you can’t run after your kids, that is not good. Also I am turning 40 and not 70, so you still have to run after your own kids. My mom is more fit then me and I guess I have her as my role model. We don’t sit around a lot, there is always something to do. Always!” Heidi, who looks fantastic, says she could be in better shape — as if! “I could be more fit but I need the time, I am just like other moms, trying to find the time for myself and there is so little. So I incorporate exercise into my daily life. I take the two dogs and go on a hike or I jump on the trampoline with the kids. In the summer time, I go in the water with them! So instead of laying on a lawn chair watching them, I get up and do stuff with them. It’s about moving around and being active, whenever you can do it,” she says. Heidi Klum’s Diet — What She Eats & Drinks To Stay Slim As far as eating right, she believe that everything is okay in moderation, except for alcohol! “I have never really dieted. In terms of diets, I have never really followed one. My whole lifestyle as a model has changed when I came to America. You have to do things right, you drink a lot of water, exercise and eating healthy, not as many carbs and understand what food does to your body. You can have pasta sometimes, but not all the time. Moderation and juggling. Saying NO to a bunch of stuff people say YES to. It’s hard. I don’t drink a lot of alcohol, alcohol is bad! It has a lot of calories and is not good for the body. Sometimes I like a glass of wine or in the summer I will have a beer, but people drink a lot and they explode, its just not good for your body!” Heidi Klum Is The Newest Judge On ‘America’s Got Talent’ Heidi is current working on AGT with fellow judges Mel B, Howard Stern and Howie Mandel. “So far, smooth sailing! I think we have all our own opinions and I am just being honest and open. Sometimes I don’t buzz as quick as the others, even if it is a train wreck, I still want to see it. It’s fun to see when they think they are doing something good and it isn’t — it’s bizarre. And the clothes some people wear, you can tell where they are coming from, it’s been funny!” she tells us EXCLUSIVELY. - Heidi Klum
