Model singer MIRANDA Kerr is more than just a pretty face. The Aussie supermodel apparently has a knack for singing. Boyfriend Jay Lyon told Insider the pair had recorded a song together but wouldn't say what it was called. "We have written a song together and we have recorded something together, but there are no plans for a release," said Lyon, 23, of New York-based Australian band Tamarama. "It is kind of our little thing. She is a good little singer. She's got a sweet little voice." Lyon, whose real name is Brent Tuhtan, was also a model. "Really, the focus is on music at the moment," he said. Tamarama has made a strong impression in the US since forming four years back. The band recently signed with Brooklyn Beats, a division of Warner Music, and is working on a debut album, as well as a national tour of the US, playing mainly college shows. It has also got support gigs booked for Ryan Cabrera and Amy Winehouse's upcoming New York shows. And fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger had the boys play at one of his recent parties, before guests including actors Liv Tyler and Michelle Rodriguez. ^It definitely seems like a real show about models unlike some of the other shows which seem more like getting ratings. Also unlike the other shows, the girls actually look like models. Beatriz, that's the Brazilian one right? She was very cute but kinda cold. Her pictures during the photoshoot at the end didn't look that model-ly. The girl from Slovakia seems to be a little bit better than the rest in terms of editorial modeling.

^I watched it, it was kinda boring. I kept waiting for something good to happen but you get to see a peek at Petra's New York apartment, talking with the models, doing a photoshoot and driving around New York. That Brazilian model is cute.

Proving that the life of an in-demand model is a high-flying affair, the 24-year-old spent a few days in Sydney last week before jetting off to Los Angeles, the Caribbean and Spain. Speaking exclusively to The Sunday Telegraph, Kerr admitted to being tired and keen for some sleep ahead of her busy upcoming schedule. "From here, I go to LA for five days and then Barbuda for three days, then Spain for four days work and then back to New York,'' Kerr said. "During the next two months I'll have one day off.'' Despite the fatigue, the willowy model said she enjoyed the trappings of her international lifestyle which has been largely built on recent appearances for international lingerie label Victoria's Secret. "I'm very lucky, it's a great opportunity and I'm very grateful for it,'' Kerr said of her career, which allows her to rub uncovered shoulders with uber-model Gisele Buchanan and Hollywood's A -List. She recently bought an apartment in New York after moving there three years ago and said she now felt at home in the city that never sleeps. "It's home now. I'm originally from a little country so it was quite overwhelming to begin with. In Sydney to shoot the latest campaign for local label Portmans, Kerr will next be seen as the face of a new Clinique fragrance.
