Interesting... thanksπŸ‘! Kicked out of Barbieland? Then perhaps it's the opposite, perhaps they're trying to 86 the original, reconfiguring the standard of beauty or alluring things with ever-changing interest? Making a timeless thing ephemeral? I guess I'll have wait until the 21st of July.
  5. Thanks @oxford25 for the updates. Glad to see him 😊. He's so little now. I wonder who he's talking to in the last pic? - How old or new is this pic?

Thanks 😊 for the response @Lilja K. Yeah, I peeped that out after the fact. Mattel has been juggling diversity for a while, but I was just striving to comb out the plot. It's not so cut 'n dry figuring out the bad guy. It'll be interesting seeing why Barbie must go into the Real World 🌍 and if her prototype status will play negatively on her naivety and otherwise good nature. Will they be a grand sacrifice to preserve the ever evolving environment present (e.g., Original Barbie voluntarily diminishing to level out the play field for the other Barbie offspring)? The other Barbies are established in their own right, but there's nothing like the original, right? Much like real life, social feats are accomplished, but there's always a long ways to go. Going on so far and then no further, if progress is on the roll, what or who makes it stop? There is a lesson to be learned, because the feature is coming from Greta Gerwig. Some kinda social growth I feel like is part of it. Anyway...here are some illustrations. Credit: Luz Art and Irl Plastic Lamb... Not an illustration...

  9. Thanks for the updates. -No cameras πŸ“Έ via federal cases, just as well, DiCaprio wouldn't agree to be filmed anyway. How is that his arrival is seemly scrubbed from public access too? No testimonies, witnesses to document the actor leaving his vehicle, slurping on a custom made Starbucks coffee β˜•, no-thing. (Scuffing). Perhaps he was choppered in and cannoned through a courtroom chimney, if they should ever have one. -Gee, I wonder if we'd have to wait till May to get a trailer. A KOTFM trailer. All the other newly released films are sensualizing film goers' lust with frequent stills and teasers. Holding out has far been preached as the best method of appreciaton. By the time that appointment is rightly appointed, should it be 20 billion host be wide open to receive that gratification...of the film's trail and release that is. And my zeal is insurmountable by the labour of waiting. Where the heck is that trailer? It seems only equitable to grant a two-hour trailer for a four-hour film. Oh what a tease, no chance for peeking even if it is asked, "please?".

  11. No, the trial has yet to be released to the public. 🀐. I still kinda feel like Lee played it safe and Pras has pleaded the 5th thus far in response to Leonardo testifying against him. This can be seen as better than venting feelings of betrayal. I don't wanna make light of the situation, but pics and vids would be greatly appreciated of Mr. DiCaprio during this legal ordeal. In addition to the drawings, that is.

I haven't followed any text surrounding the upcoming Barbie film, but I wonder, judging by the posters presented, if they're multiple Barbaras and Kenneths in multiple universes which represents a singular vision of beauty (i.e. internal and external), impact, and significance colliding; encouraging a broaden scope of acceptance, expression, outlook, community, and other blending of what is usually a continentalized portrait of social landscapes.

  20. Not solely about Leonardo but...a bit more insight.

  22. Once again, thanks for all the updates. -Goodfellas (1990) is one of those films that I remember frame by frame because of my mother. I can not count the times she'd be off work and I'd walk in from school πŸŽ’ to find her on the couch, transfixed by the television πŸ“Ί, with the volume at its max so the dialogue of the actors reverberated through out the house. This or Silence of the Lambs (1991). She and Leonardo could be good friends. Some days she would develop the nerve to watch that Scorsese masterpiece back to back, no chance to watch anything else!
  23. I don't think I know of any. In my opinion, there's a little bit of R & J in most romantic themes and sub-themes. Titanic (1997) has a bit of a R & J foundation. The families aren't warring but the social classes are, and if anything else the initials are there. I like a simple 90s flick called Hav Plenty (1998). It's a love sick tale from the leading male's point of view and whilst the movie arguably has no plot, rather more like a live action diary revelation, Shakespeare is whirled in the text, subjectively speaking. No warring families or comrades, but just a robust attraction 🧲 among natural opposites with a hint of self-doubt, pride, selfishness, and uncertainty.
