PEACOCKS' MODEL CAMPAIGN HAVING put Storm model Rachel Alexander in its Christmas campaign, budget high street fashion retailer Peacocks is continuing to build on its high fashion credentials by casting models Laura Blokhina and Geidre Dukauskaite - who broke through last season on the catwalks for the likes of Chanel, Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney and Pucci – in its "Cool Britannia"-themed spring/summer 2008 campaign. The girls were shot by London photographer Josh Olins in December, with Russian brunette Blokhina braving the chill to pose on the streets of the capital in a bikini while Lituanian-born Dukauskaite was photographed in front of the Union Jack in pieces from the Seventies-influenced collection - think graphic-print shift dresses, androgynous skinny-jeans-and-braces combos and denim trench coats.
