These scans are about two months late, but I just had to attempt scanning these monster pictures from V Magazine. We all know V Magazine is an oversized mag and not many people have been successful in trying to scan its giant pages....but not anymore! You'll need to give me more info about these commercials, sheeb. Is the Miracle Bra commercial recent? (And why does it sound like it was recorded on a webcam?) Usually, VS stops airing commercials for their products after 2 months of rotation and then they churn out a new one. For example, the first BioFit and Memory Foam commercials aren't shown anymore. You definitely don't see Adriana's Superbowl commercial, either. Pink knows more about this, I'm sure. Also, when will the XMAS commercial air? I'm telling you right now, if I have to wait until the VSFS 2008 to see these commercials.......grrr! <_<

^^WHEW! I feel so much better now! Apparently, the person that attempted those scans of V Magazine #54 does NOT know the trick to scanning giant pictures. Oh, I can breathe a sigh of relief now. Well, the reason I asked for the link, michella, is because I'm in the middle of scanning these monster pics and you will not believe your eyes when you see them. That's all I'll say for that. As for the American Photo issue, I got the mag in my possession and the photos used inside aren't new. At all. But that doesn't mean I won't scan them.

Well, posting all the videos is easy but I can't put them all here in this thread! If there was a VS Video thread, I'd put them in there. Anyway, I got a heads-up from a member of AFL and Adriana made a VERY, VERY, VERY short appearance in today's edition of Entertainment Tonight to promote the new Fantasy Bra. Apparently, she's gonna be the one to wear it this year. I capped the HD video and I will post it here soon, but in the meantime, here's some 1080i HD screencaps of the segment. @Bri: I've had that problem many times. To reset the image as JPG instead of BMP, click the pic and then refresh the picture about 3-4 times in a row and then right click and see if the format changes. That's what I always do. If it doesn't reset, then keep refreshing the picture until it does.

That's a funky looking cover from AP. If the issue isn't out yet, then that means I'll have Mega-UHQ scans as early as 24 hours from now. Yes, you read that correctly. Anyway, where are the scans for Gisele's edit for V Magazine #54? Can you post the link here, michella? I wanna know the person that tried to scan this monster-sized edit.

Yeah, I know its been posted before, not a surprise. But after I discovered the trick to scanning giant magazines like VMag and WMag and Rolling Stone, I had to give it a try. For example, the current edit of Miranda on FHM UK was a 10x11 photo and I was able to actually scan the entire photo! Now I'm gonna scan the giant picture of all those IMG models frolicking on the bed naked. Too bad Isabeli and CB isn't a part of that spread.....or are they?

@Pink: Nope. I don't have any commercials prior to December '07. Whatever you saw on my list is all that I have. I have them running in a loop on my HDTV at home. @Joe: I never saw those IPEX commercials, so I can't really comment. BTW, saying only one word in a commercial doesn't really count as dialogue. Believe me, I wish I had a head's up when these VS commercials would air because they usually creep up on me at the last second (except the ones that get announced in the news). When I miss them, I usually scope out the rips that Sanja makes and while I appreciate his effort, its easy to tell that its not always about quality than it is about being the only one that has them.

^^Oh Pink, why do you mock me? @Joe: The second screencap was upconverted, which means that even though the commercial was aired on a channel that broadcasts in 720p HD, it doesn't make the commercial High Def. The High Def VS commercials I've ripped are for these products: --VERY SEXY WIRELESS PUSH-UP (Alessandra) --ANGELS AIR PUSH-UP (Miranda; her second commercial) --VALENTINE'S DAY AT SUPERBOWL 42 (Adriana; yes, I actually waited thru all 4 hours of the whole Superbowl game just to record this commercial) --VS PAJAMA XMAS SALE (featuring all of the Angels except Karolina and Marisa) --BIOFIT VERSION I (Adriana and Karolina; aired during American Idol Season 7) --DREAM ANGELS HEAVENLY (Karolina) --VS GIFT CARD (Heidi; wearing a Santa outfit) --DREAM ANGELS WITH MEMORY FIT (Miranda; aired during American Season 7) I find it funny (yet sad) that only Heidi, Marisa, and Miranda are the only current Angels that have made VS commercials with dialogue, while everyone else just poses and looks pretty.

I recorded the BioFit lace commercial in High Definition, but there's one problem: even though the commercial was broadcast in High Def, the commercial itself (unfortunately) was NOT in HD. I don't understand why VS can't spend the millions of dollars it makes and get some High Def equipment so that they can film High Def commercials for corn's sake! Anyway, I ripped the commercial and took two (untagged) screencaps. The first screencap is the original 480p version and the second screencap below it is the upconverted 720p HD version. Which one do you think looks better? If anyone here is interested, y'all can visit a sucky Jessica Alba website called The Alba Area. There's over 10,000 pics and over 100 videos. BTW, person who runs that less-than-stellar site is....well, me. It wouldn't hurt to give it a visit because we need the hits to get the site back on top. Ever since Jessica gave birth to that demon stepchild of hers, our site has pretty much gone downhill. If you already know about the site, please address some feedback here and explain what makes the site good and what makes it horrible (besides lack of updates). I'd definitely appreciate it!

^^Totally! Scanners like you and me are few and far between. Everything else is just in the middle. BTW, I just came back from our god-awfully tedious VS meeting regarding shrink. WASTE OF TIME. Management doesn't give us any hours and then they're wondering why our shrink percentage is so high. HMMMM..... Well, at least I got the new fragrance and the latest BioFit bra that I have no use for.

Whenever I see those Polaroids, I go It's so sad the this year's VS show had to move away from Hollywood (my hometown). I've enjoyed peeping out the festivities whenever the VS girls stopped by. Just a bit of useless knowledge, I was actually there at the event in 2006 when the VS Angels were given the Key To The City by the (now deceased) Honorary Mayor Johnny Grant. My view was obscured because I was standing high up in the upper balcony ledges, so I couldn't take photos with my phone. Although Isabeli wasn't part of that year's show, its still a fun memory that I'll never forget. Anyway, did you already scan the Versace eyewear ads, Francy? If you did, show it to me. NOW!!!!!!

I'm going to ask a question and I hope all of you know the answer. Back around May/June '08, VS released a giant, oversized preview booklet of the upcoming Supermodel Obsessions line featuring Alessandra. The booklet was a monstrous 17x11 in size and was made of a lite construction paper. I'm sure Pink knows which one I'm talking about. Has anyone attempted to scan this monster booklet? I'm sure there have been some attempts, but after seeing what my good buddy at TFS could do with the Angelina Jolie pictures from W Magazine (which were 13x10 in size), I think it's possible. If not, then I'm gonna do it. Now that I know the trick to scanning giant pictures, it's time for some monster Alessandra pictures!
