  1. missparker to the rescue again! Thanks for the info on the magazine that those 2 pages came from.
  2. Natori ad from 1987
  3. a French ad from the mid '80's - Valisere
  4. Oh Joe, I just re-watched those commercials - beautiful! Thanks again for sharing them. This is a two-page article - I have absolutely no idea where it is from or what it says...
  5. Hi Joe! Thanks for those! I have seen the Knowing commercial before but the Spellbound and Fruition commercials were new to me! OUTSTANDING!!! I could not get your link to work - once I got there, I was able to create a new search and I came up with this - hope this one works for everyone! http://www.ina.fr/recherche/recherche?sear...r&vue=Video
  6. Match International December 1988 (this was posted by kar on pg94 but I just received it and couldn't help myself! - I still miss her, wonder why she stopped visiting us? ) some closeups from the article
  7. here are a few Escada ads I recently received
  8. Thanks for the info, Silvy
  9. Any info on this pic??? Never seen it before! Yes red The 20ans is my scan! Thanks for quoting me! Thanks for all you posted! You're welcome, Silvy! I have seen this pic before but I also have NO idea where it is from. Maybe someone else here might know???
  10. one picture from a bit later Harper's Bazaar US March 1986
  11. some Laura Biagiotti ads (sorry if any repeats)
  12. Infiniti - she is with one other model here - I can't decide if the big picture on last page is her or the other model...
  13. Here's a few pics from Paulina's early years... O.BA.O appears to be a company that made shower gels and body lotions.
  14. paulinafan - I'd not seen that video either - it's terrific! Thanks for sharing. The video does confirm her first cover was 20ans (not my scan - I think it might be Silvana's?) - I had no idea but I know a couple of people suspected this was her first and she says it was - she'd only been modeling 2 weeks!
  15. This is from a French magazine...maybe Femme? (maybe someone knows for sure?) I'm guessing sometime around 1992 since the photographer is Rico Puhlmann and I know the 4th picture appeared in the Harper's Bazaar US June 1992 issue. The 3rd picture is one, again, I feel like I've seen 100 times in medium quality - so I am so happy to have it now. Also, I have the entire article if anyone wants me to post, however, it is not about Paulina - it seems to be speaking about innovations in the Cosmetic Industry.
  16. WOW! Thanks for all the information, missparker. I had both of these pages and did not know where they came from - looks like my guess on the Vogue one was pretty close. Also, thank you kalaudia, for the translations. you are welcome, Silvana - glad you enjoyed the scans. I should have a few more coming soon.
  17. kalaudia e-mailed me the translation and asked me to post for her... She's literally outspoken, something you would perhaps not expect from a mouth as beautiful as hers. According to Paulina Porizkova, who has signed a contract with Estee Lauder that amounts to 6 million dollars, the job of a model is uncreative and boring. Rest assured, this US-Czech woman would never content herself with posing silently: She has acted in three movies, lately in the black comedy ARROWTOOTH WALTZ as a foil to Johnny Depp and Jerry Lewis, she plays the piano and speaks six languages. Until today Paulina has refrained from eliminating the small gap between her front teeth. And gleaming red lipstick is something she detests: "I like being kissed too much." Shirt and bandana by Ralph Lauren. Hair: Howard Fugler for Roger Thompson Salon at Barney's NY.; Makeup: Kevyn Aucoin with products by Estee Lauder.
  18. Here's another one I'm SO happy to have. I've seen it in low and medium quality it seems like a hundred times but I'd never been able to find it. It is from a German magazine (Vogue, maybe?) and the other side says '92 on it, so I'm guessing that's a good assumption on the year... kalaudia, would you be so kind to translate again when you get a few minutes?
  19. Yay! - I'm so happy I found something that neither Jal nor paulinafan had seen before. I love to find new pics to post that are new for everyone!!! Also, a GREAT BIG thank you to Kalaudia for the translation. I did not think it said too much about Paulina but it's nice to know exactly what the little blurb did say.
  20. This page is from German Elle magazine, probably 1988 or later. Does anyone know? Also, It does not seem to say too much about Paulina (at least half of it seems to be describing her makeup "look") but if one of our German friends could translate, that would terrific!
  21. paulinafan - I can see what you are saying...though I'm pretty sure that pic is flipped. Here's the way I think is correct
  22. ...and here it is! So, thanks to missparker, we now know this editorial is in the same magazine as the beautiful editorial that Silvana posted at the top of pg 121. Harper's Bazaar France May/June 1988 - L'Empire du Soleil
  23. Hi Paulinafan - Silvana is right! The timing is oddly perfect as I just received that editorial in the mail TODAY and am scanning it even as I type. As soon as I have it scanned (and shrunk enough to post), I'll post it yet tonight!
  24. Wow, thanks missparker! Now I know what the cover looks like and I've seen all the Paulina pics in the magazine.
  25. This is a Czech magazine called Marianne. I'm not sure what month it is from but it is 2009. Unfortunately, Paulina only appears on the cover (and a couple of pages inside that picture the cover - I think promoting the magazine).
