  1. Kar, thanks for the larger scan - and the great covers! I'd seen a couple of them, but these are the best quality I've seen. Have you received the S African Cosmo or Fair Lady magazines yet? Oh...could you post the cover and anything else about Paulina from that Australian Vogue for me - when you get a chance, of course? At some point, I'll get to my covers too. Jal - more great pics, thanks. Billaruda/steve - here goes trying to post bigger scans...I think this is as big as I can get them with my current equipment...please let me know if they are hard to open up.
  2. Some random odds & ends - I have to go to work, so I don't have much time right now... These are YouTube snapshots: This is a video I have, I believe it's also posted on YouTube:
  3. Miss, I'm glad you are enjoying the pictures!
  4. This came up before (the subject of photo-image utilities), and I meant to post this link: IrfanView is a nice little freeware utility that will allow you to quickly resize images (CTL-R), and also quickly convert image file formats (BMP --> JPG), among other things. It has a slideshow function, a screen-cap function, will allow you to make adjustments to image saturation and brightness and contrast, and will also play (some) video files. It's simple to use. I've been using it for years, and find it very stable, and very handy. It's free. http://www.irfanview.com/ Steve, I'll take a look...thank you!
  5. billaruda, will re-scan them soon...I know I have 300 dpi capability...not sure if I can do 600 dpi on my scanner...I will check it out. I know I've appreciated the bigger sized ones that I have seen on Bellazon, so I thought I would offer as others might feel the same way too. I had already scanned these some time ago and just had them on my laptop, so they were handy to post "as is." It is such a shame about Paul Yang's site. I tried to e-mail him once some time back to ask a question (and would have liked to contribute to the site, as it is the best I've seen in sheer quantity of pics) but alas, my e-mail was returned.
  6. This is kind of an unusual photo I came across...I think it's kind of a cool picture (no pun intended). Apparently she is standing directly behind a block of ice which was custom cut for her and then behind her and the ice is a fire, which I read she thought was quite an odd sensation to feel the ice on her front but have heat behind her at the same time.
  7. Some of the handouts I got as an employee...back then we had to wear our hair back off our faces...now we can wear it any way we want (I came back to Estee Lauder almost 5 years ago, working at a counter at Macy's - formerly Marshall Field's)
  8. Here's some more pictures. I'm so happy to be able to share these. I was considering starting a web site like Paul Yang's so I could share my pics but this is much easier! And you can call me "red" instead of typing my too-long screen name all the time. Oh, and if anyone wants me to re-scan any (possibly bigger, if I can figure out how), I'd be happy to do it! sorry if there are any duplicates in this set...gets a bit confusing trying to organize these attachments...
  9. I bought her book but have not read it yet...I'm glad to hear some positive feedback about it.
  10. Hi Kar! Great pictures! I did not have any of them. Thank you for sharing. I got most of my collection while I worked for Estee Lauder. I worked for Estee Lauder from 1988 - 1991 and was a makeup artist who traveled to stores in and around Chicago (Neiman Marcus, Marshall Fields, Bloomingdales, Saks Fifth Avenue, etc). I would pick up brochures at the counters and try to keep my eyes open in magazines for ads too. Also, I've collected (as you know) some of the Estee Lauder ads I was missing on Ebay. I always have my eyes out for ones I've missed. Also the picture in the second row, third one over (black & white closeup with her head resting on her wrist), is there a way you can scan it bigger for me? If not, that's OK.
  11. Jal - great pics! Where did you get the one in the top row center - I've never seen that one! Do you, by chance, have the whole ad? Also, do you have any idea what year it was from? Thanks for sharing!
  12. Thanks billarruda. I've got a lot of Estee Lauder stuff but when I look back at some of the pics you've posted...you had some I didn't (what a tremendous surprise - I was thrilled!)...I was beginning to think I had collected pretty much everything there was - but was sure I'd missed some along the way...I actually worked for Estee Lauder from 1988 - 1991 and tried to collect as much as I could during that time, but there are definitely things I've not found. To this day, I think Paulina was Estee's BEST spokesmodel...wish they'd bring her back to use in at least some of their ad campaigns - maybe Renutriv? Anyway, I'll post more of my Estee Lauder collection...and if, along the way, you happen to notice things I've missed...I'd love it if you'd post what you have.
  13. Some Estee Lauder seasonal color ads... if anyone notices any I'm missing, please let me know! 1988 1989 1990 1991 1992 1993
  14. I found this site last night - what a tremendous find! I'm always looking for new pictures of Paulina I don't have (especially Estee Lauder stuff) and happened on this completely by accident. I also have TONS of pictures I'd like to share too. Here are a few... BTW, hello Kar, what a nice surprise to find you here! I was actually going to send you an e-mail...but you found this site too (and even before me). Maybe this would be a good way for us to share pictures with each other.
