In 2005 it was rumored that Katia and current boyfriend Sakis Rouvas were engaged but the two have not yet confirm any of this. Katia was also one of the three finalists that ERT (Greek national broadcaster) is considering as a potential co-host with Sakis Rouvas for the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest 2006 in Athens, Greece. The one they chose was Greek-American model/TV presenter Maria Menounos. The other name the Greek media had mentioned is model/actress Vicky Kaya.
