When Doutzen signed with Loreal in april 2006 people start saying she is too commercial now & bye bye high fashion carreer! Models could not accept commercial jobs. I remember Doutzen saying she had to reject the Guess jeans campaign before her big break in Febr. 2005 because it was too commercial. They said if you do Guess Steven Meisel wont ever book you. And Victoria Secret offered Doutzen a contract 2004/2005 but Doutzen said she wanted to do high fashion work first before signing with VS. 2003-2009 was a difficult time for models who wanted to do high fashion and commercial work It was a time where "Alien" models were very popular in high fashion

Featuring everyone from Jennifer Lawrence (the most searched person) to Rihanna (the most searched red-carpet dress), these results represent an aggregation of trillions of searches users asked Google throughout the year. But we wanted to know how the specific models and terms we have obsessed over all year long ranked, so Google made a curated search for Style.com, featuring the best of the best. The most Googled fashion trends are determined via data from the searches with the highest spikes of the year. Normcore might not be the word of the year, but being shut out of the Oxford English Dictionary didn’t stop the fashion movement from trending—hard—online. In fact, this decidedly average fad has officially scored the number-one spot on the list as the most Googled fashion trend of 2014. Meaning, despite the fact that normcore was everywhere (in stores, on the runways, and in real life), people still wanted more details. Other top-searched trends included buzzy Internet terms health goth, althleisure, and wearables, as well as plain old products like crop tops and over-the-knee boots. While the top trends are no big surprise, the most Googled models might be. In a year that arguably belongs to Kendall Jenner, it’s actually Kate Upton who heads the list of the top 20 fashion models. She’s followed by Kendall Jenner, at number two, then Miranda Kerr, Heidi Klum, Gisele Bündchen, and Kate Moss. Although it’s assumed that fellow Insta-girl models would clock in high on the list like Jenner, they came in unexpectedly low. Gigi Hadid was the eighth most-searched, followed by Karlie Kloss at nine and Hailey Baldwin at 15. But perhaps most shockingly, they all beat out Cara Delevingne, who came in at number 16. She signed her VS contract at a difficult time when models were only allowed to do commercial work or high fashion work but they could not do both She lost her high fashion image at that time she sgned with VS because she was getting too commercial VS gave her not 1 fantasy bra/not 1 show opening VS did not do anything for her carreer (except a USA Elle cover + USA Vanity Fair cover) Hopefully she is still able to shoot a/some Spring-Summer campaign(s) now she left VS ... although that chance is little

First I thought she would do campaigns for other well-known brands (zeki, LaPerla etc) but now I think she might start her own lingerie line together with a lingerie company just like Rosie & Gisele. Yeah she said that in 2008 in RTL Boulevard (Dutch) Since the 2008 VS show she 's always been the biggest model walking the show. But VS never gave her credits for that. When Candice had a great year doing Vogue Italia cover in February and some campaigns she got a fueture during the VS show about her fantastic supermodel year BUT when Douten had a Major 2013 year she did not get any private airtime during the show. 4 September Vogue cover (italia-spain-holland-china) first model ever to grace 4 Vogue September covers! 8 vogue covers in total + 2 other september covers for telegraph fashion and a whole france elle dedicated to her! 2013 Campaigns for: miu miu, pucci, h&m 3x (summer/fall/winter), bruno magli, loreal, victoriasecret, repeat cashmere, tiffany & co, samsung NL, moam, hogan. The only model with 5 different exclusive contracts worth million(s) -Loreal -VS -Repeat Cashmere -Samsung NL -Tiffany & Co VS showed zero respect and treated her like a b list model for years!

Hoping she will do Zeki swimwear again & La Perla lingerie And she will obviously sign that contract with Designuel Last time VS demanded Doutzen not to work with that brand She was announced as new ambassador for their brand but it was canceled because of VS. and hopefully more H&M commercials & something like Nike for sportwear But my dream is Calvin Klein underwear!!!
