I've seen a lot with her too, however here's my top:
1. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004)
One of my favorite and one of the most beautifully devastating movies.
2. The Dressmaker (2015)
This movie has always made me experience a whirlpool of different emotions and to some extent it's not easy to watch it, but it's definitely worth it.
3. Mare of Easttown (2021)
Who doesn't love complex female characters?
4. Titanic (1997)
I don't think this one needs any explanation.
5. Revolutionary Road (2008)
It contrasts sharply with the Titanic, showing a heartbreaking portrait of a typical american family of the 50s. A couple of years ago I would have put it above the Titanic, but now I appreciate the Titanic more.
6. The Reader (2008)
Heavy, but worthwhile.
7. Little Children (2006)
I watched it for the sex scenes, but that's not the only advantage of this movie.
8. Finding Neverland (2004)
Of course I cried.
9. Labor Day (2013)
10. The Mountain Between Us (2017)
On my watchlist: The Regime (2024), Lee (2023), Ammonite (2020), Carnage (2011), Mildred Pierce (2011)
Seen but can't remember: Wonder Wheel (2017), Collateral Beauty (2016), The Holiday (2006), The Life of David Gale (2003)
