wow... i love how a book by Paul Ferrini sparks the "smartest" topic. I think everyone is smart... in their own way... but there are others that are just intellectual. I think doutzen is one of them. I mean how many models can honestly talk about or even mention a Somali-born Dutch feminist? Like... I think Sasha Pivovarova is very smart. Others may not think so because she's not so proficient in Enlish, but hey... ask her about Tolstoy and she'll tell you all that she knows. partly agreed sorry but i really disagree with "I think everyone is smart... in their own way..." i mean it is ridiculous everyone? por favor there are millions of idiots like paris, slutney, la lohan ... they really are not either smart or inteligent see this is why a ton of people think I am one humanistic bastard! hahah! I think everyone is smart... in their own way... just as Paris is smart with being a promiscuous jailbird, britney is smart with being an obese 'singer', and lindsey is smart with crashing cars while intoxicated. I like to define 'smartness' as a proof of excellence in one area. And paris, britney, and lindsey just seem to excell greatly on those areas.

has anyone posted the pictures of doutzen from the June 07 issue of US Vogue. I mean... other than the Rio, Grand spread. Coz I know she has one in the Contributors page with Mario Testino (p. 76). Another in the Beauty, Health and Fitness section (Page 141) and she has a couple on the interview page (p. 170)

yeah thats true, mentioning those organization doesn't necessarily make a person 'political'. It guess it depends on the person. I'm involved with those organizations, especially UNICEF (campus initiative chapter president) and I have to say... the more I get involved, the more I get political. but anyways... in that March Issue of Vogue... she does say that she is bothered by the fact that Ayaan Hirsi Ali, feminist and politician, is in hiding because she excercised her freedom of speech. You can't get anymore political than that. anyways... she's just everything and those pictures are gorgeous! But I have to say that with just her personality, she's already won me over. I mean... speedskating (APOLLO IS THE GOD OF SPEEDSKATING and dancing) ! How much cooler can she be!

Being new to this forum... I am in awe! I just have to say you guys are super awesomely amazing for being so quick with everything Doutzen and everything model related! I love it! I love you guys already! hahaha! Oh... and I was reading something about Jessica Biel and Doutzen.... I have to agree that Biel shouldn't be compared to Doutzen... it's almost blasphemous! I can see the whole Denise thing... but Biel?!! Come on! I mean I have nothing againts Biel... but Seventh Heaven shouldnt be paired with High Fashion!
