Wonderful woman...Miss, can you please repost the Elizaberth Arden ad with Vendelaa on a couch ? She has her feet up and she is wearing a red tartan big skirt. I was a fool not to save that picture on my computer.
  2. I have that editorial in small pictures. Sorry for the low quality but they are all I have...
  3. Gorgeous ... and always will be gorgeous.

I was talking about Cover Girl, not Maybelline. I do not remember any darker skinned models on Lancome. But of course, I am not an expert on the subject of available shades. I have knowledge only from the magazines that were sold in Turkey in those days.
  10. The two "fire" pictures are not exactly the same, but they follow one another. If you save them on the computer and look quickly one after the other, Paulina looks like as if she is dancing. She looks like she is swinging her head.
  11. Enjoy...

I think Lancome was late to catch up on things. Their target clientele was mainly WASP women, so they didn't need diverse types of beauty. In Cover Girl ads there were whites and other races. Also there was Replenishing make up line which aimed at older women. So they used older women like Jennifer O'neill. There was the Clean make up line which was aimed at younger women, etc. Lancome is doing this for only five or six years. It took them longer to realize that there are other women too, not only wasps.

How can I not forgive you? I was being silly I think when I wrote that .

Please don't forget that Christie is still working for Cover Girl. In her thread, there were pictures dating back to 1980 and 1990 and 2000.... That is a world record.

You are so sweet friends. I think I was on a bad day that day. On second thoughts, there is nothing wrong with reposting my pictures. Some pictures from ebay that I came across earlier this evening. She looks breath-taking. [att chment=351307:maxitclaudia15.jpg] By the way, where is the world going when the models are size 0 and girls like Ashley and Estelle are "large"? In the real world in which we live, women are generally even larger. I read in a paper that the people in the US and UK are 70% obese and in my country this ratio is even higher. We love pastry. We eat heartily. But you can't find anything larger than size 12 in most stores. I am size 16 and I feel miserable when go shopping. I find that I am buying shoes more than anything else, because there is no size problem.

Many of these are too small for Jal718's liking, but I wanted to post them. There is one thing that I want to mention. I try not to repost anyone else's pictures but there are two members that I noticed who repost my pictures (scanned by me mostly) and do not even mention it. I know that once you post something on the internet then everyone can copy and use that pictures. But on the same thread... It makes me sad a bit.

Thank you very much Francesca. They are great pictures. At the first glance Isabella looks a bit cold. But her beauty grows on you. The longer I look at her pictures the more beautiful she looks to me. Dear Miss, the picture you posted is incredible. Thanks a lot. Here are some pictures that I came across on the internet. P.S: What does "Qualcosa di Me" mean? I really wnat to know. Is it a book by Isabella?
