I think the models lost their appeal, because most of them have uninteresting forgettable faces. Also the PR people of celebs worked harder than ever and got lots of covers for their clients. It is sad indeed, I mean for fans of models.

I think I must be the oldest person here. I turned 41, so I am kinda dinosaur and I can remember most of the earliest models. However I learned about Michelle Stevens, nancy Donahue and a few others on the topics here at Bellazon. Christie Brinkley is the earliest super that I can remember well, and I collected her pictures for 20 or 25 years. When she married Billy Joel I was very happy, because he was my favourite singer at the time. Imagine that your fav supermodel marrying your fav singer...a match made in heaven it seemed at the time.

I found these Nancy Donahue pics on ebay, I don't know where to post them, but I remember that Jal had a topic on her before the crash. So the pics end up here.

Small covers that I collected from the net. I wish I had them bigger. The names of the pictures are the dates of the covers. Beginning from 1984 she was regularly on the cover of Elle. She was on the cover sometimes two issues in a row.
Casta isn't a stick figure. She is a woman full of life and sensuality and this comes thruogh in her photos. You can almost feel her breath.
Casta, of course. She has that dreamy quality that I always sensed while looking through VS catalogues.
I bought these two. There isn't any other pictures of Tatjana in may89, but there is an editorial in nov.88. They were posted before but I will try to scan them if I can. Thanks for the lovely and rare Laetitia picture.
