The Mavi Jeans commercial featuring Barbara Palvin.....The extended version......Soooooooo beautiful... I can't believe that MAVI would choose to show more film footage of that man than Barbara Palvin...Is he THAT popular in Turkey ???? It like 85% of him and 15% of Barbara in that ad and even then more of Barbara's back than her face...WEIRD....

I wish I could agree with you BUT don't forget that Barbara already has an exclusive cosmetics contract with L'Oreal which all but prohibits her from working with any other leading makeup or skin care brand....The only reason L'Oreal still allows her to work with Chanel Le Blanc is because it is only a fairness/skin lightening product that is geared exclusively for the East Asian market....Barbara can never work for Christian Dior... .. esp a beauty campaign with one of L'Oreal's major rivals highlighting their brand new red lipstick collection..... Here is a picture of Barbara shooting in Shanghai,China...I don't know the original source...she looks tired and sad...I feel terribly sad for her....She wanted this SOOO much....That much is clear ....We don't know the REAL reason and can only speculate why she isn't a part of VSFS 2013 BUT if indeed her agency( IMG) /her management /her agent made a stupid "mistake" and booked her this assignment in Shanghai the very same week/day that the fashion show was being held simply because he/they/IMG was too lazy/inept to find out ( after all Barbara's main NY Agency IMG represents a LOT of VS Models incl the Official Angels and I am sure they were informed of the date for VSFS 2013 in advance to make sure the date was available in the models schedules) then I hope that Barbara leaves them ASAP....the timing seems really really strange....She is in demand now and I am sure her dates/schedule is prepared weeks if not months in advance...I know for a fact that she was double booked once before and couldn't do an exclusive Holiday photoshoot with VS before ..another model was booked instead .....I wonder if the same thing happened this time....but we'll never know the real reasons.... I hate to start a fight( esp on Barbara Palvin's thread) but according to this Bellazon post the Victoria's Secret casting for 2013 was held from 28th to 30th of Oct.....Barbara went to LA on the 31st of October and worked with River Island the following day..... That's classic envy. Barbara Palvin fans are batshit crazy. Like I have no problem with One D for example but I HATE their fans for this very reason. They terrorize everyone away from social media or fanboards much like neurotic Palvin fans. Some people are so miserable with themselves they put their idols on such a high and dehuminizing pedestal that anytime something negative is even implied about their idol they take it as a personal attack and react accordingly. Its scary and psycho and baffling. It needs to stop.

I really really REALLY hope Barbara will be a part of this years VS Fashion Show 2013....according to one of the Hungarian magazine articles posted here before when interviewed Barbara stated that she was supposed to attend the casting sessions ...both of them actually...there were no exceptions made for her unlike Lais etc but somehow she didn't make it to either of the castings...Last year she was working with Replay in Paris and they excused her...she had to make a little video of her walk and pics...VS liked it and let her be a part of VSFS 2012 ....I hope it is the same for this year as well....It is better for Barbara if she doesn't have to "audition" in front of all those super critical people...her walk is horrible and her bikini body is not the type that VS usually obsesses over....I am keeping all my fingers crossed for her...Good Luck !!!!
