Neo, I need someone to talk to. I am so distraught. I seriously thought that she would NOT be there because they only showed Gisele in the preview. Then on the day of, I took my catalogue to work, prepared to meet Adriana and possibly get an autograph OR just see her pass by and run here to brag Joke's on me because I was so busy at my desk that I completely forgot and completely did not know that she was there until I logged onto this website and saw the video. I am beyond upset at myself. Yes, I am a female and no I am not gay, but I admire Adriana so much. She is the only celebrity that I really give a crap about. And there she was where I work and I missed meeting her?? *sigh* I'm being a drama queen but I am so mad.

I work at MTV and Adriana Lima was at my job. Darn it I forgot to go to the studio to meet her. Can you believe that???? I am so upset right now. I should lose my fan card over this. Stars come and go at my job and I never care. But this time I realy wanted to meet her but forgot until the next day when Tyra was there. CRAP!!! So upset. A co-worker went to her party, she comes to my job -- both times I don't see her. I guess I'll have to get in one of those long fan lines when the angels do another signing in NY or something. How does one know the VS angels tour schedule? I really want to meet her now -- just once and I'll be content.

As a straight female, I don't pay attention to women, so this is the oddest obsession. But I see Adriana Lima as ART. The first time she absolutely captivated my attention (other than the VS doc w/Tyra) was about 2 years ago at the mall. I was going to GNC and there was a huge poster in the window of VS next to GNC. It was like slow motion -- I couldn't take my eyes off of the poster. Her bright eyes were hypnotizing. I knew that she was "that girl who dated Lenny," and that's all. Then I started noticing her ads at CVS (drugstore) and on TV. One day I stumbled upon Adriana forums like this and it's been great but addictive. I feel awkward praising a female like this, but again to me she's like a work of art. To add to that, I value her ethics, cultural pride and I adore her humble and child-like persona as it's been portrayed in the media.

Great question. The first time I saw Adriana Lima, she was a very young girl in the background of a VS special or Tyra documentary. The focus was on Tyra, and I wondered, "Who is the new black VS model...or is she mixed?" Later I'd come to learn that the girl was Adriana Lima.

My co-worker went to Adriana Lima's birthday bash last night in New York!! I know her b-day is in June, but maybe the rich celebrate twice He didn't care because a friend of his is friends with Adriana and invited him. Me? I sat with my mouth open, shocked and wishing the bum would have invited me...although my self-esteem in a place full of supermodels would have been at an all time low. I'll ask him the location again tomorrow if anyone wants to know. It was in SoHo somewhere I think -- downtown Manhattan. Anyway, now I can say that I know a friend of a friend of Adriana's!! What? Where is it? I'm beating my head against the wall right now because I can't locate it on the VS site. Someone from WFT linked to it. I had to sign up to see it. There's a VS page with several videos (framed in polaroids) of the models on a shoot. Each has their own video interview, including Adriana. She talks about the shoot and they show her having fun. I assumed that since it was on VS's site, I'd be able to easily to return to it so I didn't bookmark it Now I can't find it.
