He started losing it before then. His form dipped when he consciously decided to be Barca's and Brasil's one-man attack. Now, he's putting pressure on himself to work miracles everytime he touches the ball. He doesn't seem to be having much fun anymore and its affecting his performances It's something that's happening to other players too Without Fergie shouting at him, Cristiano is reverting back to being a ball hog. Robben put in some good performances, but when he gets that boost in confidence he thinks everything he touches turns to gold <_< and Brasil look fragile Luckily they have quality in defence (although the defensive system is flawed) I think it's time they start bringing Juninho on

They played so well through the centre. Messi has class stamped all over him. What other player recovers from injury, and comes on with only 15 minutes to go and gets a goal and an assist? forgive my backtracking... Messi will be the star of the tournament if he gets more playing time Is he suppose to start against Holland

Whenever I've Torres play for Madrid, he's hasn't been great. I've been trying to tell everyone he's overhyped, but now he's making me eat my words <_< Compared to Henry? where are the similarities? :lost: and yes, Henry's developing a problem with accepting loss. Lahm has been solid for Germany, and had on of the most spectacular goals of the tournament. Cannavaro is solid like usual, and it doesn't look like anyone can get past him. Puyol is defending well, and the run in the Ukraine game was unreal were he set up Torres. Heinze is a wall, and you can just tell how badly he wants to win. Perrotta is a pleasent surprise, he's been defending well as well as making some cleaver runs. Essien leads Ghana by example, and was great in the Czech game. Robben was out of this world in the first game, and looked untouchable. Riquelme leads Argentina's mid, he calms down the game and distibutes the ball well. Messi would probaly be there if he played a little more Drogba I have a new respect for he was the star of Ivory Coast who were playing some real attractive football. Torres had a great game today, and he looks like the one will carry Spain's offence.

There were some good moments towards the end. What about Ballack and Podolski missing from 3 yards out? Seriously, my grandmother could do better than that!
