Yes Valentina is in heals. But I think Andre looks his height here. He is the same height as Adriana but since she's also wearing heals she obviously looks taller than him. And thats exactly what we see in the photo. So Valentina being Adriana's heigh in heels now makes sense seeing that Adriana is only a few inches taller next to her.

I didnt say CAA got her the job. I am saying she herself may have gotten it. Just how she had said she got Vogue Spain in 2019 and other stuff herself.

@Souled-Out The TOGG thing wasnt like real modeling work so I'm not saying he didn't play a role in that. Who knows how it happened but I do think it should have been his job as a publicist to look into the brand. And I disagree that Laurent is the one who got her that Harpers Bazaar thing. The more likely answer would be that it was her cause of who she is. She is the one who has been in the modeling industry for years. No way Laurent has a noteworthy connection in fashion that would be of good use for Adriana. I think she uses him more as assistant than for connections relevant to her. No way she would have hired him of all people if that were the case.

Yes I dont think Laurent is any good for her. No idea he lived in Saudia Arabia. I was under the impression he was in LA. And yeah id assume she pays for Laurent's expenses on their trips (along with Andre for whatever reason) and if she doesnt, he must be getting paid well where it wouldn't matter if she covered flights and stuff. But I do think sometimes some gets the roles of a publicist and modeling agent mixed up. Laurent isn't an agent. He is not the one responsible for getting her modeling jobs if I am not mistaken. Im not sure what her situation there even is with CAA. But assuming she is still signed with them, CAA is the one responsible for helping her book modeling jobs.

100% she was better and agree with all that. Im just saying I could understand Adriana switching to another PR person or team that can do a better job. But her hiring a publicist because they work with her boyfriend in a whole other industry, is one of the more questionable things she's done i think.

Im not sure Andrea was that great either. But she made more sense than this. She was actually part of an agency that worked with other models. Laurent if im not mistaken, does PR for films not celebrities. And I don't think he has any experience with the fashion industry.

Well her standard for hiring Laurent was that he works for Andre's film company and is friends with him. I also have not seen anyone talking about the TOGG thing. But I guess cause it only concerns Turkey. I don't see the need to blame her when she never actively promoted that brand. The photos are paparazzi type photos. I imagine she doesn't know. And doesn't have a team that knows how to to do their job alot of times.

This is not an official ad/campaign thing imo. It's a pap stroll as you said and not the a type of pictures a brand uses as an actual campaign. Some of them are even blurry. She has no reason to post it. If she got paid to do the bare minimum of calling the photographer briefly to get some shots while out, then thats all. But I disagree that the reason she isn't posting this is cause she isn't "back". She has shown already herself on instagram and publicly. And these aren't bad photos of her by any means. But this was just some easy quick money for her and nothing serious. No need to post about a staged pap stroll and post about an irrelevant/unknown brand if they aren't paying for an instagram ad from her when there are brands who could pay someone like her in the 6 figures for that.

I wouldn't necessarily say this is true. There are times when Adriana has posted a photo and then the brand she was wearing will repost it which makes sense (she wont even tag the brands). That's why brands send PR packages to celebs. But in situations like that she isn't even being paid. So i dont blame her if essentially she accepted getting paid to call a photographer while grabbing her coffee. Like how celebs call the paparazzi on themselves. Literally no effort by her. She wasn't posing and didn't have to post the photos or anything. And why they were played off as being paparazzi photos.

I dont imagine a small random turkish brand can afford a model like adriana for a contract or even a campaign or ig ad. The brand owner appears to be a photographer. And the brand is the source of the photos. So that could explain why the brand is being credited. Theres many possibilities about how this happened. Perhaps the brand sent her the clothes and she was out wearing them and the pappperazzi photos got sold to the brand. I guess there's the possibility of it being staged and adriana got paid just to have her photo taken wearing it and that was it.

The photos from yesterday? No she went to some event.
  16. This? "We are proud of Adriana from walking the Cannes Film Festival red carpet while pregnant last year to the Carine Roitfeld's fashion show she did shortly after delivering her baby, we believe these moments showcased body-positivity. https://www.goal.com/en-us/news/who-is-adriana-lima-the-supermodel-appointed-as-fifa-s-global-fan-ambassador/blt2b5bd130f872643f

I would imagine she would just dye it rather than use some temporary color spray product if that were it. The brown thing appears to be on her scalp. The middle of her hairline is where the uneven part is. And here the hairline looks straight. So i think its that because theres not really another explaination for why her hairline is straight there for that event. Im sure some hairstylist are better blending it in than others cause yeah im recalling they did that for the smirnoff ad.
  18. lucyford replied to Neo52285's topic in Adriana Lima
Ive thought that her hair stylist sometimes do something to her hairline to straighten it (when her hair is pulled back like that specifically) because she has always had an uneven hair line.

The criticism is getting out of hand and the woman in particular calling it out keeps brining up what she said to GQ ages ago. Laurent had to comment this to the media https://www.cnn.com/2023/03/02/football/adriana-lima-fifa-moya-dodd-women-world-cup-intl-spt/index.html Laurent Boye, said the model’s stance had changed in the 17 years since she made those comments. “We can proudly say that Ms Lima has been promoting a healthy lifestyle for several years and like many people, her position on many LGBTQIA+ and women issues has evolved and she is considered an ally,” Boye said in a statement.

How is this sexist? So Adriana can't be offered a job outside fashion and it not be sexist? I feel like sexist is reducing Adriana to only being a "gorgeous and very sexy supermodel". Also what do you mean by "men's football", womens soccer is also part of FIFA. As @nhlovesadrisaid, she was chosen to be a Fan Ambassador. Not a analayst or coach or someone who requires alot of soccer knowledge. They were probably looking for a celebrity to do this.
  21. lucyford replied to Neo52285's topic in Adriana Lima
Yeah as others said, her dad was a coach for teams like Real Madrid, Bacrelona, and Atletico. So she personally knows alot of people at Fifa like the players and wives and the Fifa president. I believe thats how Adriana got introduced to him and would explain why she would thank her.
  22. Its only February guys so I'd expect to see her again this year. The fact she was more active during this pregnancy than the others and doing the qatar show prior to losing her baby weight, tells me she isn't done. And clearly she wasnt back in shape when we last saw her and so it makes sense if she is taking this time off. And her THINKING about POSSIBLY writing a book doesnt mean anything in regards to if she will or wont continue modeling. Multiple models have written books. And she would most likely need a ghost writer to actually do the writing.

@Clauds Adriana has mentioned Valentina wanting to model throughout the years and that she would support her. I think as recently as her interview with Elle when she did the pregnant photoshoot. I can also recall Valentina saying it on her tiktok. Yes you hear horrible things about the industry. But as a nepo baby, she would have it a lot easier.

I think she was wrong for running her mouth about Adriana in a podcast though. Comes across very fake. She especially prompted people to believe there was a Adriana and Gisele rivalry.
