This i can agree with. She seems to not be bothered by it and like she’s doing good. I think the Egypt picture is new. Adriana usually posts new stories in real time unless its a repost. Or she’s mentioned if it was from the day before. Also, she hasn’t been posting on stories and didn’t even post from her last event. She seems like she’s been busy there. Plus she posted it in what would have been 3/4 AM in Miami, so I don’t think she’s in the states. Idk what the deal is with Matt Higgins. But she met with him last year and then this year posted a pic from last year with him giving him a shoutout for being her business partner. No clue what that’s about or what they’ve done together in the last year. But they didn’t meet in September when she posted that picture on stories. It was old. I believe he posted it the day she became a US citizen to congratulate her. I thought she could be considering acting when she signed to CAA. I remember her showing us her script a few months ago from that show she did an episode for with the Fantasy bra. So maybe it is on her mind. Honestly tho I’m not sure how well that would go. Models are usually hired for acting roles to play the hot girl with 2 lines lol. And especially her having her accent, I’m not sure she’d be one to get big roles.

I agree she must be working. She was just there and did tourist things the first time. I think she wanted to go to Art Basal too but had work in Egypt. @Souled-Out I think she was serious about Emir. I don’t think he was about her. He’s apparently back with his girlfriend of 7 years there were rumors he was still seeing while with Adriana. But I’ve mentioned it before, Adriana taking him to Harpers party and going to other events with him sounds like she was serious. When did she do that with Metin? Big difference between her fling with Harvey and her relationship with Emir. Plus I don’t see Adriana wanting to run around with a rich guy around Europe for a “fling” rather than being with her kids. She not 20 yrs old anymore.

@laeteita She makes more money in a year than most people will make in their lifetime. Idk why you are making it sound like she has to worry financially. 85M is more than enough. What do you mean it’s not much “for someone that lives like her”? She’s lived in the same house for the past 10 years, it’s prob paid off. Nor does she seem to blow money on things like cars for example.

@laeteita According to Daily Mail, she joked about it on stage so I’m not sure we’ll get a video. Weird they live streamed the carpet but not the actual award ceremony. Speaking of the Daily Mail article, when did she say this???? Did they just make that up cause she used to say she’d leave VS at 40 and that would be 2021 for her? Doesn’t sound like her to be talking about retiring fully in 2 years.

Agree I would’ve liked to seen her at BFA. But she is supposed to be at the Footwear Awards today to give Puma an award. So she couldn’t have attended. I’m still unsure why she didn’t hasn’t been attending the MET anymore if she’s going to events that are outside industry like VMAS, movie premier, and sciene galas. She also doesn’t attend fashion shows much even when she is there for fashion week.

I hate this back and forth over something silly like this... but it’s not going against the rules to talk about who Adriana is seeing. Also NO ONE was calling her names. I’m not sure where those accusations are coming from. No one had any issues with what was being discussed. Also, Adriana hasn’t exactly been taking “money jobs” this year. She did more editorials this year than she had in the past few years combined. Not many “money jobs” outside her usual contracts other than BCBG. Which is fine, it’s good to see her back doing editorials. She worked this year a lot more and was away more from home for events/shoots/vacations.

Yeah it was good to see Adriana return to editorial work. I’m guessing Vogue Japan should be coming in January. She also has the Puma campaign coming from when she shot in Paris. I wonder what she was working on in NY and Miami last month I think it was. I hope she returns to walking fashion shows.

@nhlovesadri But no one was disrespecting the rules. The board rules say we can talk about gossip concerning Adriana. And that’s what we were doing. People were talking about Emir because I had asked when she started following him again. And someone pointed out it was right before he was linked to another model. So we were talking about how the follow prob doesn’t mean anything. And the Edelman talk was cause we noticed her liking his stuff a lot and possibly having interest in him again. But it’s not like users were talking about Edelman in football or something completely unrelated to this forum. I would understand if it were a bunch of users from other boards that came here and started talking about someone else and aren’t Adriana fans as you are saying happened last time the thread was closed.

@miauhaus Right this is the first warning of such I have seen. I didn’t realize talking about Adriana’s boyfriends wasn’t allowed in a “general discussion” thread. It’s not like anyone was talking about someone completely irrelevant to Adriana nor was it interfering in other discussions about Adriana.

Everything being said had something to do with Adriana. There’s no harm being done with people having a discussion. It’s not like anyone is talking about anything else right now on this thread anyways.

@Souled-Out All Im saying is I don’t think it is completely unbelievable to think Adriana may or may not have been made fun of in school for whatever reason. We know she’s shy and she’s said she was always in the books in her school days. On another note, can’t belive her VS runway video went viral again this year. It’s got like 5M views on Twitter and it’s not like she posted it or something.

There’s not even many photos of Adriana as a kid tho. And she said she never thought she was beautiful. Being told in school by people explains why she didn’t think she was beautiful. If everyone was always telling her she was, i think that’s what wouldnt add up. And again, Adriana has never said anything about that. So we wouldn’t know. It’s not like I’m not taking her word. She’s never said anything.

@Souled-Out Well obviously Adriana herslef is the more reliable source but she’s never said she was or wasn’t bullied/made fun of. But if someone went to school with her, there’s no mistaking things like that. And in the interview with Ale, they didn’t ask them if they were bullied in their life or even if they had insecurity. The invterviewer just brought up how Ale used to pin her ears back cause it is known she had plastic surgery.

@Souled-Out Just cause Adriana has never claimed being bullied doesn’t mean that’s not true. Ale talking about being bullied for her ears was another thing. I remeber the interviewers kept asking Ale about it next to Adri cause they knew Ale had ear plastic surgery and Ale seemed uncomfortable. I don’t see why someone would need to make up that Adri was bullied in school. They said what school she went to too. Plus, maybe it was jealous mean girls who could’ve made fun of her. She’s said before she was very studious/nerdy.

Intresting tweet. Adriana has mentioned people would call her too skinny and make fun and how she didn’t think she was beautiful. But honestly I didn’t think she was called ugly.
