No she hasn’t worked for maybelline in a while. But as I pointed out, she hasn’t worked for Puma either in a while. In fact she has done no shoots since Prive Revaux around November. The pandemic has of course caused all this. Also, if the 2014 contract were for 5 years, it would have ended last year. I’m pretty sure she’s still with maybelline. And them posting her yesterday confirmed it pretty much. And if I remember correctly, Adriana had posted their Christmas gift to her was a donation to the Brazil Foundation under her name so I don’t think her NYFW work was her last job for them.

Well they asked her to do that maybelline challenge during quarantine on her stories if that counts for anything lol. But yeah she hasn’t done anything, same with Puma, IWC. She hasn’t done anything all year other than a couple events and the virtual CR show. But with the world situations, it makes sense why she hadn’t done much. I was hoping for a virtual shoot but no Id expect for her to be part of the virtual Maybelline Show since she had been part of the real one the last couple years.

Exactly. If Ana would’ve seen that, it would mean not only no Vogue US cover but no editorial, Vogue videos, and banned from Met. This is why I assume her management told her to take it down. Although Anna 100% deserves to be called out, it could affect her career.

@Clauds No i agree Ana has never been a fan of Adriana. But if Ana saw Adriana calling her a racist, then whatever chances Adriana had of getting one would be gone. And it could even get her blacklisted. Yup she’s made that Vogue Italia mistake a couple times now, I think she’s confusing it with British Vogue

I don’t think she’d delete it just cause of the Vogue Italy mistake. She could’ve made a correction on a new story. And the repost was to call out Anna Wintour and US Vogue. Or she could’ve reposted it again after she deleted it. Who knows if her management advised her not to do that, cause that’s not gonna get her the cover. She chose to be quiet instead. Maybe she thought it’d only hurt her chances even more. Maybe she thought people who don’t understand how the fashion industry works, would give her crap for calling herself “curvy”. And people would say a black person and plus sized models have it harder in terms of discrimination. Or I could also see people calling it silly she’s upset about not having a cover while others are getting killed cause of their color. I’ve seen people making comments like this during this time on people speaking up about how they have experienced discrimination. I think she should’ve kept it up tho.

I saved it cause I had a feeling she’d delete it. She deleted this story that was necessary. Maybe she got scared she’d not only NOT get a Vogue US cover but no more editorials, Vogue videos , or Met Gala.

@laeteita Thanks for posting it. I saw they keep them up but they delete the workout videos after some days. So we needed to get her part if we wanted it.

I think this is just the lighting. And she still has some of lighter highlights she had gotten a while ago

@Souled-Out Yup it wasn’t the lady who told Adriana although she tried to to claim that. It was Andrea, you can tell Andrea helped her rewrite that too as it was free of grammar/spelling errors. And the spiritual lady certainly didn’t rewrite hers so maybe she is a closeted Trump supporter

Agree but I don’t think that’s what she was trying to say. Cause she definitely doesn’t support him. Yoy have to remeber she didn’t write that. But she should’ve thought of that before reposting that story. But I think what Adriana wanted to say was well written on her new post. That it’s all of us that need to make the change, and we can’t realy on any leader to do that. Like I said, I don’t think Adriana wanted it to have anything to with whether you support Trump or not. Just that WE need to be united

I think all of us here understand what she meant to say the first time and don’t think anyone is blaming her. And that’s why some of us contacted Andrea so she’d let Adriana know. But Adriana should’ve been smarter than that to not post a story where it could sound like she supports Trump. Especially during this time when yesterday Trump was getting exposed by Anonymous on Twitter

Yeah and I think some people only bothered to read the first sentence. Anyways Adriana wasn’t even trying to make it about Trump or her opinions on him which is why that got left out completely in the one she wrote. It’s just unfortunate that’s what people were taking from it when that revised message is what I knew she was trying to say

This is what she does when her team informs her about what’s going on. Some messaged Andrea to let her know. Adriana rewrote the message she was trying to send in the original story to where it wouldn’t be misrepresented as her favoring Trump.

@Souled-Out Yup I doubt Adriana has seen what people are saying cause she’s never on Twitter. I feel like even if she takes it down, she wouldn’t make a clarification/statement. She seems to have a mentality of “let them think what they want”. Which is great for if it’s something silly like dating rumors but this is serious
