yay she tweeted finally ^ I guess shes still shooting Oral-B and maybe some of her other contracts. I wish she tweeted more herself. I've seen a few people say they are un following her because she never shares anything personal. or when her team tweeted once "we have a surprise to announce soon" almost every tweet was assuming she would announce a pregnancy. It was a website promotion.

Alot of reprints but yes she's done so many editorials, but shes been doing Vogue since 1997-NOW, so her longevity is impressive. She's always loved to shoot more than anything I think. I think what helped her career alot is she did not take the money jobs right away. She built her portfolio from day 1 (and Vogue eds do not pay that much..) but in doing so, it paid off better in the long run. I think going too commerical too early hurts a girls career. (well obviously not money wise but prestige/status wise it does, IMO). How are designers,editors,photographers gonna be impressed with a bunch of random/commercial/catalog pictures in a girls book at castings? Emily Didonato is a perfect example. its not that shes not beautiful enough to get great work, she just seems to be complacent with commercial jobs (dont blame her, they pay well, lol) but at the same time, I cant imagine the likes of Anna Wintour and Steven Meisel running to book a girl with the bulk of her portfolio being over photoshopped,uninspired Maybelline pictures... but it is a different era so maybe not as fair to compare. When Gisele was starting out models were still getting magazine covers and actresses taking all the models jobs was a new concept so there were more jobs for a model back then.

Its so impressive that even her popularity is died down she still can manage 900,000 twitter followers in 2012. If twitter were around in the 90s she would have as many as Lady Gaga or Justin Beiber for sure.

it sure makes up for lack of eds this year. and I must say it looks promising. Maybe my favorite Gisele work in years. Since becoming a mom they've wanted to showcase her more as "earth mother" or "gisele the person" not "Gisele the model",which can get repetitive. This looks stellar. (doesnt hurt when shes working with I&V either) The previews so far are really looking like her early Vogue work,which is my favorite of all time. Does anyone know why Cindy was not included on the American Vogue November 1999 past present and future issue? I thought it was blasphemy she wasnt on it considering she was American Vogue's queen for many years. Was it true she had some issues with Anna Wintour during that time? thats the only thing that sounds plausible, really. and I think shes only had one editorial since.
