  2. Daniela does alright, nothing too spectacular. I'd still like to see her walk PINK someday, but I wouldn't say she's a catwalk queen by any means. Yara is wobbly (but has great sex appeal nevertheless) and Hailey is a mess when you watch her from behind. As stunning as these women are, I prefer girls like Gisele, Candice, Naomi who could tell a story essentially with their walk. That's what drew me to VS in the first place.
  3. Not to be harsh, but the models who walk at Miami Swim Week are trash on the runway. None of them know who to walk properly and their bodies are extremely disproportional because they've been modeled to fit the IG model type for solely photographs.
  4. High fashion girls that I'm rooting for: Adut Akech, Luna Bijl, Yasmin Wijnaldum, Robin Holzen, Oumie Jammeh, Aube Jolicoeur, Yoon Young Bae, Alicia Burke, Hoyeon Jung, Birgit Kos, Senait Gidey, and Anok Yai. I'd die if Imaan, Bregje, Sharam, Irina Shayk, Barbara P, or Joan returned. Hopefully, they'll keep Blanca, Cindy, and Grace E. Mayowa and the Russian girls also need to make a comeback / debut.

  6. Lais (Fernanda deserved to make it farther) Ana BB
  7. Sometimes, models who tend to get cut really early on but continuously try out (ex. Trinidad de la Noi) answer fan accounts and reveal the date...
  8. She did walk her final show with some significant highlight in her opening despite having given birth like five weeks prior. It seemed as though they anticipated it and gave her a moment to shine IMO. This is a great point. If Adri or Lily mention possibly leaving earlier to the media, VS might pay attention and give them something.
  9. I mean Adriana does have almost double the amount of years Lily has worked at the brand. It doesn't seem unreasonable to claim that Adriana does deserve a bigger send-off. I agree that the editing and the way Alessandra was treated does not seem to be indicative of how send-offs happen, but VS could get their shit together. I still think Adriana should receive a significant farewell (if she is leaving). That isn't to say that Lily doesn't deserve one at all, but rather that Adriana, who remains their most popular angel after so many line-up alterations, definitely should get more than Lily if they both are choosing to leave.
  10. If it's both Adriana and Lily's last year, Lily's either getting entirely overshadowed or they'll mesh the two together and she'll get more than she deserves.
  11. I've heard rumors that Adriana is getting a Vogue US cover? Can anyone confirm or deny this?
  12. Stoked about Behati coming back to high fashion. Her work there seems to be consistently good in the few jobs she's done since she began moving towards motherhood. I have been pretty vocal about not desiring for her to come back to VS, but, seeing how great she looks on the runway, I wouldn't mind seeing her pop up again. I do think her Angel contract should end sometime soon though...
  13. Lmao, I was commenting indirectly to Bella, not your comment
  14. Is it definite that Alexina was even offered a contract in the first place? I believe Ming, since she was known to have met with them in the offices and had been a staple for some time that made it reasonable to assume she might be getting a promotion, but c'mon, Alexina?
  15. Interesting thing to ponder... I doubt it tho, seeing how disproportionately the difference in screen time between them was. Seems like they had probably settled on Josephine and invited Vita because she fit well with the group and was similar to Joan in the respect that she was getting a lot of the attention at the time (obviously not the same level as Joan). Josephine seems to be the Anne Hathaway of VS. She works incredibly hard and produces excellent work a fair amount of the time, but is criticized for seemingly lacking any genuine characteristics. I get that she can seem phony at times, but I think her work ethic is incredible and she clearly loves what she does. I'm rolling. It's been common knowledge that she got a nose job early on in her career for like two years now. Sis, you can't just pretend like you didn't chisel your face so you could actually get modeling jobs.
  16. Proud of Lais. She truly is one of the strongest women in the industry. Hearing about she get less jobs in the company makes me sad. Imagine if VS pushed her during the times she was essentially relegated to the background the way they do now?
