Is it just me or has this thread devolved into lists of celebs/models the poster simply doesn't like rather than celebs/models the poster truly cannot understand the appeal of? I mean, you can't understand someone's appeal simply because they're too short? Or because you think the person is ugly - while admitting the person's body is great? Wtf? But just to continue in the real spirit of the thread... Kate Gosselin. What a horrible human being! She should never have been allowed one kid, let alone several.

The SAS will speak for nothing. Might Adriana have big promotions coming up? Of course. But the fact is that the potential promotions will be taking place post-comeback. It's a very simple concept. Someone is here, then they are not, and then at a distinct, singular point that person is back. Might they then get even bigger as time goes on? Sure, but the comeback has already occurred, regardless of how uber-fans try to rationalize it to make themselves look right. Geez. This is getting almost as silly as the concept of a lead Angel.

Why blame VS or the models? That "interview" looked anything but official, so I wouldn't blame either side for not anticipating some creepy douche sticking a camera in their faces to ask questions they likely couldn't answer. I mean, they're models. The point is being attractive (and maybe having a sexy accent); knowledge of sports is secondary irrelevant, even in sports-related promotions. VS already proved that: i.e., Candice promoting the VSFS on "The NFL Today."

Oops, clicked on the wrong thread! But I see every one is talking about acting, so... As a former student filmmaker who has won local festival awards for directing and has taken acting classes, I'll offer my perspective, and my perspective is that anyone who says acting is easy doesn't have the faintest idea what he/she is talking about. It might look easy, but believe me, in auditions you have to go through fifty people before you find someone who can read "Hello, how are you?" off a page without sounding like an illiterate zombie. And that's without a camera in the room. Put them in front of a camera and most people can't even remember that line. Throw in the need for charisma and confidence and it's really no surprise there are so many bad actors out there: everyone else is even worse.

^ It was. Anywho... a lot of the media is picking up on Marisa's Guitar Hero commercial being banned, and The Daily Mail says the problem with the commercial's risque-ness was that the video game is rated 12+. So I guess it was too sexy for 12-year-olds.

^ Nice. But I think you're confusing things, as Heidi's commercial was released before Marisa shot hers. I haven't seen Heidi's commercial in awhile, but from I remember, the two commercials seem a little redundant though. Maybe Vamp is right then. If no one plays Guitar Hero anymore, maybe the company decided it's not worth doling out the cash to get the commercial on TV.

If you reread my intro, you'll see that I kept this to current relationships that might have had an impact on the model's career, and Gisele's relationship with Leo is not current, and she was obviously already known worldwide after that so her dating/marrying Tom Brady is sort of irrelevant fame-wise. But I did consider adding her (and Adriana/Lenny Kravitz) because a four-option poll seems lame, but when it comes to Adri and the fame debate with Gisele, things tend to get out-of-hand. But I can add them anyway just to make it more interesting... That said, I'm kind of surprised no one has voted for RHW. I mean, she starts dating an action star and almost immediately afterwards is cast in an action film despite no credentials as an actor. The Transporter I and II? Snatch? Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels? Yeah, the rationale for voting Brooklyn is weak, but someone voted for her. And I think Andy is rather famous in the US - especially after that epic Wimbledon match against Federer in 2009.

Note: to prevent über-fans of certain models from having aneurysms, I'm only including models currently in high-profile relationships that have had a suspicious/debatable correlation to that model's rise to fame and/or subsequent success. 1. Bar Refaeli: started dating Leonardo DiCaprio in 2005, 1st appearance in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Editions in 2006. 2. Brooklyn Decker: married tennis star Andy Roddick in 2009, appeared on cover of the SISE in 2010. 3. Miranda Kerr: started dating Orlando Bloom in 2007, gained Angel status in 2007. 4.
