Okay, I'm bored with this, so if you want to think she was born in 1978 because one source indicates that possibility while all the rest counter that, then knock yourself out. In the end, none of us really know, and until Marisa posts on FMT asking us why we're wishing her happy b-day three months early, then I'll go with the most accepted birthdate for her.

Personally, I really doubt most people differentiate between a woman being hot and a woman being beautiful.

Banjo: If you read that article, it says she was at the winter release party of 2004, so she would have passed her birthday and a 1978 date would then have her at 26, not 25. So that article is unreliable, since it validates neither birthdate. But every other editorial I just scanned on that same page says she was 24 in 2004, which likely means a 1980 birthdate.

If you have a reliable source, banjo, please share! Because everyone I know says the Aug. 6, 1978 date is less likely.

I vastly disagree with this! Marisa simply isn't runway material, while KK is. Simple as that. It was never about VS making a decision to favor one, and if there was, why would they choose KK? High fashion credibility doesn't sell clothes to the average American woman, so the better business decision would be to favor the model with the bigger following. Not to mention, besides blonde hair and cool personailities, Marisa and KK are NOTHING like one another. Marisa is very American and KK is very European, and each seems to have their separate niches for that. And even if her career ends up "unremarkable" like Petra's, that still means she'll be far more famous among the public than the current high fashion models will ever be.

Is the sun damage that orange tinge to her skin in recent VS pics? Because I just thought that was overdone tanning cream or something. You see it in Ale's pics, too. But it's amazing to go back and look at the SI 2003 shoot to see how much fresher she looked back then.
