if we're going for JUST sexiness... that's a little difficult really! Tyra is my ultimate goddess! when she was at her hottest, she was certainly sexier than any of these other girls. but nowadays ... erm ... not so much. Adriana is the most obvious choice and will surely win as she has SO many fans on this site. it should be "adrianazon.com" she's also extreeeemely sexy so i can see the appeal. Gisele is incredibly sexy. ultimately so is Heidi and Izabel and Ana they all all. i mean, come ON, they're the VICTORIA'S SECRET ANGELS!!! its their JOB to be irresistably sexy. but for me, there's just something about Karolina Kurkova that strikes a chord. when she walks, she ...glides. yet, she can also stomp away. i'll never forget when she opened the 2001 VS show. it just rocked my world!!! and her VS pics are always sexy. there's a sensuality in her that is deeper than just "sexy". and obviously her body is to die for. KK gets my vote! (*but if this were a few years ago, it would be Tyra*)

its Malibu Beach Barbie's hotter, tanned friend! her body is utter perfection. truly there's nobody else with a body like that. absolutely SO lean. most women when they are that lean develop large muscles (a la Naomi) but Gisele doesn't. she must have the most incredibly gifted trainer

Well, obviously my vote goes for KK. She's the blond bombshell supermodel for this generation. She has the best legs on Earth, an incredible body, gorgeous face, beautiful skin and hair, the most spectacular smile, and best of all -- an amazing personality. GO KK!!

i think that the era of the 1990s was more than just about the models. the reason why everyone knew Cindy, Linda, Naomi, Christy & Claudia was because actors and actresses weren't on the covers of magazines even remotely as often as now. Claudia Schiffer has over 500 magazine covers. Cindy has over 600. Naomi has more than any other black cultural icon (more than Oprah, Whitney, Michael Jackson, Michael Jordan, etc). When you looked at the magazine rack in 1992, you saw the same 5 faces over and over and over and over and over again. THAT'S why they were SO well known. Today, even though KK is perhaps the most successful model (after Gisele & Kate) she still only has about 80 covers, v.s. say .. .Gwyneth Paltrow who probably has 200. see where i'm going with this? it's about exposure and the models just aren't getting it nowadays. Cindy, Naomi, Linda, Christy & Claudia were in music videos and in Pepsi ads and in the entertainment magazines (the few that existed back then). now, the big contracts go to international popstars like Beyonce or Britney, and even the majority of international cosmetics and fragrance contracts are given to actresses instead of models. its just a different time now.

exactly --- and i feel like Gisele is a "SUPERMODEL" and someone like Daria is a "TOPMODEL". however, KK falls somewhere in between. she's definitely far more widely known than a Daria or Gemma, (as is evidenced by her public appearances on talkshows, late night shows, entertainment specials, etc) but she's still not truly a household name like Heidi, Gisele, Kate, etc. as i said before, though, she just needs a public relationship (a la Leo DiCaprio) or movie role (a la Taxi) to go with her big VS contract to move rather easily into the upper echelon of Supermodels. And she has a movie role coming up and her VS contract has only just started, so we're sure to see much more of her in the coming year.

hey -- i actually agree with what they're posting. in terms of the definition of "Supermodel" that came from Naomi, Cindy, Christy, Linda, Claudia --- there really are only Kate and Gisele since then. Tyra & Heidi are exceptions to the rule because they really turned their modelling success into more commercial things that is where they gained most of their fame. Eva Herzigova is an international celebrity, she's famous around the world and she is STILL working, but she isn't a household name. She rarely gives interviews or is on talk shows. She's a top model, for certain! A top model who's been on top for like 15 years!! But, is she a "SUPERmodel", as defined in relation to "The Trinity" and Cindy, Claudia?? No, I suppose not. And neither is KK. Sure, absolutely everyone in the fashion industry knows her, but she's certainly not a household name all over the world like say, Gisele. That's not to say that she'll never be. She is the closest thing to being a true SUPER that the fashion industry has right now. She has the gorgeous, curvy body, the big blonde hair, the legs for miles, and most importantly -- she has that contagious personality. Everyone who meets her loves her. Those are all qualities of the Supermodels. We'll see where she's at in the next year. She's got the VS contract which will bring her face and name to all the teenage boys. She's doing a movie as well, which will get her on more talk shows and premiers. We'll be seeing a LOT more KK in the next 12 months and then my bet is that she'll be included as a true SUPER, and the only one to come since Gisele.

DEFINITELY Ms. Weisz. she is truly truly a beautiful woman. so sexy and classic. also very elegant.

well, as sad a state as miss whitney is in right now, i think that if we look at her in her prime, she blows the others out of the water in terms of talent AND looks. other than vanessa, Whitney is the only one who has model-worthy looks. in fact, she started her career as a model before quitting to pursue her singing career. she's always had a fantastic body and great skin and a perfect smile. in terms of raw talent, while Beyonce and Alicia are certainly both talented -- they're both in their primes right now and there's not a chance in Hell either of them could touch "I Will Always Love You" or "All The Man I Need" or any of Whitney's other big hits with their vocal abilities. haha. all the models fall at some point or another. even Naomi has fallen more than once. Mariacarla has an awesome walk. its hard to compare hers to Karolina's because they're very different. of course they're allowed to do both VS and La Senza --- but once they become a treasured "VS Angel", then that's an exlusive contract and no more La Senza. All of those KK pics were taken BEFORE she signed her recent VS contract. and its such a pity that they're so airbrushed. i think they'd be some of the most beautiful pictures ever if they weren't made to look completely unnatural and fake.
