you know -- admittedly, you're probably right. i've never been a fan of isabeli's. but i didn't ever feel the need to post in her thread. and it's true - if you don't have anything nice to say, why bother posting at all!? so i regret spewing negativity into isabeli's thread. i suppose the reason for my disliking her, rather than just not caring, came as a result of her comments about KK. so i'm apologizing. sorry for bringing a bad vibe into Isabeli's thread. she IS a very accomplished model. nobody can argue against that.

haha. you all get so sensitive! i didn't say she wasn't a great model. and obviously, within the fashion industry she's well known and has accomplished quite a bit. all i said was that SHE IS BORING. her body is great, her face is great, but she's just so "blah". it has nothing to do with Victoria's Secret. i don't know where you got that from, Francy. she just seems to have no personality. that's all. and i was merely surmising that it was due to her general "boringness" that she isn't nearly as famous as she SHOULD be, considering all the incredible work she's done over the years. again - not knocking Isabeli's modeling or work ethic. she has done A TON of stuff. i was only stating why i'm not interested in her. and speculating as to why she isn't famous. also - i didn't mention Karolina Kurkova at all, there is no need for me to compare her to Isabeli. i'm not sure why you felt the need to bring her up, Francy.

Izabel seems like one of the nicest people ever, i really can't imagine her saying ANYTHING negative about another model. ESPECIALLY a model who she has to work with all the time.

i will never understand why she's had the success that she's had. i mean, she's just so bloody BORING on the runway. same expression everytime. she's beautiful, sure, but that's where the fascination ends, i think. i guess that explains why she's not a Supermodel. i mean, why she isn't famous at all. you'd think with all the work she's done over the past many years, she'd have SOME international press.

haha! yeah, her and Gisele are definitely runway veterans. they've each done virtually every major runway show possible. and i always thought her and Gisele had a great rapport. and they look great together. i suppose that's why VS was always putting them before or after each other in the shows. i liked at the end of 2005 show when KK was opening the toy soldier segment, and Gisele was joking with her, "Go Karolina! Kill them with your gun!" haha.

Carmen x5 --- this is a tough one. i thought that was one of my favourite moments in VSFS history, when KK opened that segment. her walk was just so dreamlike, and the shot from behind as she walked into the light, her feet crossing over and over, just divine. plus, she managed to make that frilly thing look so sexy. but then again, those green boots. *eeesh*. i don't remember adriana in the segment, but she looks damn fine in that outfit. as much as i love KK, i gotta give the advantage - based purely on the outfit - to adriana. though here is another pic of KK in that outfit - a straight on shot. so you can see the boots. haha. i can imagine lots of photoshoots with the babes from the movie all together. (sort of like when X-MEN first came out, remember how there were a ton of shoots with Halle, Rebecca and Famke?) hopefully KK will be included in all this promotional stuff. surely she's famous enough to be there, even if her part isn't so big.

ez_c i know what it's like to take a bunch of time for something and post it and not get any response. it's like, "ugh. why did i bother doing it if nobody even reads or notices or cares!" just wanted to say THANKS MUCH for the translation above - i read it and appreciated your efforts! Heidi is just so down-to-earth. she doesn't seem to take herself so seriously. i imagine that's been part of her great success!

i LOVE the closeup pic with the beret, as well!! it's easily one of my favourite pics of KK! sooooooo naturally beautiful in it. i'm very excited for the "KK with Bangs" compilation! i love her with bangs as well! and if Vamp ever sends me all the damn pics (*1 month later .. lol*) then i'll have a ton of super rare KK pics to post! also, super, i completely agree. i'm sure she's gonna dazzle at future events. she's gotta step it up for G.I. Joe promotion! i mean, it's gonna be a BIG movie, so they'll be doing premieres all over the world. and the press will be all over Sienna Miller and Rachel Nichols for their fashion and such ... it will be the best opportunity for KK to really STAND OUT and shine. i mean, she can make either of those girls look like your average chick down the street, she's KAROLINA KURKOVA! hahaha. if i were her publicist, i'd be telling her "KK, this is your chance to break into the film industry. you're gonna have a hundred different premieres of this film. ton's of international press. you better show up ready to play. wear the sexiest, most glamourous, eye-catching fashion you possibly can. stand there and smile and talk to everyone. you're a star!"

KK x5 -- Carmen x5 (*love Gisele to death, but i really don't think she looked so great in this show. i remember even thinking that when i watched it - it was like she was going through something in her personal life at the time. she just seemed uncharacteristically introverted or something. sorta pissed off and distant.*)

just want to contribute a little note to her thread. i've had the distinct pleasure of meeting Leighton on at least 6 different occasions here in NYC, and i can tell you that not only is she absurdly beautiful, but she's also one of the nicest, most genuine people i've ever met. this girl's smile could bring light to a cave at midnight. she is so calm and down-to-earth. such a hilarious contradiction from her character, Blair. don't normally write things like that. but, since there's all this drama and rumours about her family (which i really don't know anything about), i just wanted to put it out there that this girl is truly a treasure.

ok, morgane obviously has a great butt. however, isn't there a rule for this thread that we can't be spamming it with pics from OTHER shows?? this is all about VSFS 2008! showing editorial or other runway pics of your favourite model shouldn't be allowed. it's only gonna lead to a trillion posts by fanatics to show off their favourite girl (or unflattering pics to dissuade people from voting for a girl they don't like). an official picture was submitted to Limalicious by someone who presumably is a fan, so that's the pic that we have to base our judgements on - unless everyone agrees on a better one. maybe there was a better pic of Morgane from the show that you'd rather use. i don't see any reason why that couldn't be posted as it's from the VSFS 2008. (*yes, i'm a rule freak*)

hmm ... not sure really, Morgane's is a bit flat and Miranda's a bit saggy. LOL. obviously, they both have great butts - perhaps just not the most flattering pics. erm.. Miranda x3

my favourites are Tyra's first one - in the jeans and white tanktop. INSTANTLY recognizeable - one of her most famous images, i would imagine. Rebecca's - standing in the bikini in NYC. just gorgeous! and her body looks incredible. Gisele's first one - in the jeans and crazy sequined blazer, side view. that particular pose/angle of Gisele's i've always loved. she's so thin and yet curvy. gorgeous face too.
