Personally I was surprised that Emmanuela made it so high, gorgeous though she is. Overall, I liked the top 10/20, and thought it wasn’t missing too many big “names” (except maybe Jasmine, Yasmin, Naomi...) I wish there had been more South Asian/Amerindian/Asian (non Chinese) and Middle Eastern girls in the final rankings and perhaps a few more classic models (names that were big pre-2005 say) but I loved that girls such as Oluchi and Arlenis did well. In particular, I am also very pleased about Joan and Liu’s rankings. They’ve never been my favourite but they are total icons!

First, thank you to everyone who took part. We may not have been many, but your votes were much appreciated. I hope you enjoyed the competition. I loved the idea of celebrating MOC beauties, with the top 20 having girls of origins from South Asia to Africa and the Caribbean via the Middle East to East Asia, all joined by the link of being basically gorgeous. Without further ado, here the top 20 Bellazon MOCs 20 - Cong (7.23) A high score for face, and mid-level scores for career and walk kept this Chinese beauty in the top 20 in spite of a low score for body. And how can you argue with those cheekbones? 19 - Cora (7.25) Cora is an all rounder, scoring reasonably well across all four categories, just missing out in the top twenty for career and face. 18 - Leila (7.27) Another girl with strong, but not exceptional, all round votes, Leila was seen in particular as a strong walker with a great body. 17 - Eden (7.37) Eden had extremely high scores for her looks, with top 10 placing for body and top 5 for face. However, very low scores for walk and career kept her from going higher in the ranking. Clearly, people want to see more of this girl though! 16 - Gizele (7.56) Gizele's face gave her her strongest, but her body and walk were much appreciated too. Her career may not be as visible as others, but she was well liked and scored a lot of votes across all rounds. 15 - Arlenis (7.66) Towards the upper end of an all-rounder, Dominican Arlenis made the top 10 with her walk, and top 20 for body and career. 14 - Riley (7.68) Riley was ranked in the lower end of career, top-10 in walk, and was considered as ranked the second best face, however a low average for body keeps her outside the top 10 overall. 13 - Kelly (7.69) Kelly's body was recognised for being a knockout, with a top 5 placement, however her career was also recognised for being impressive and she missed out by 0.05 from being in the face ranking. 12 - Ming (7.77) A top 10 pacing for her career, and number 12 placings for face and walk mean Ming was a sure-thing for the top 20 overall! 11 - Oluchi (7.82) Oluchi ranked solidly in all categories and placed in the top 20 for every one. You can see why she was such a VS favourite in the early 00's with such broad appeal! Were you surprised with the rankings? She is Pakistani-Lithuanian origins, but Australia born and bred. 9 - Ming Xi (8.17) Debuting at Givenchy, Ming has a whole gamut of work in print and runway, from commercial brands such as VS (she was a Chinese Angel) to Balmain, Chanel, Lagerfeld and Kors. 8 - Cindy Bruna (8.57) Italian-Congolese Bruna has Vogue Italia covers to her name, as well as campaigns for Prada, Chanel, Burberry, H&M, Ralph Lauren and more to her name. She was a Calvin Klein exclusive in 2012. 7 - Sui He (8.71) A Fall 2011 top newcomer, Sui was the first East Asian model to open Ralph Lauren and has walked Chanel, D&G, Dior and Gaultier amongst many others. She has been on the cover of Vogue China and W magazines and was a regular in VSFS and a Chinese Angel. 6 - Emanuela de Paula (8.75) Rumoured to have been offered an Angel contract at the same time as Rosie, Erin and Candice, this Afro-Brazilian model was a regular in VSFS catalogues and shows in the late 2000's/early 2010's. She was a regular face of the British retail company Next. 5 - Jourdan Dunn (8.8) Covergirl for Vogue Brasil, Japan, UK, Italia and others, in 2008 Jourdan was the first black model to walk in Prada in over a decade. A household name in the UK, she has done adverts for Burberry, Calvin Klein, Topshop and many others. 4 - Joan Smalls (8.86) Puerto-Rican Joan has done it all in fashion: VSFS, top shows (Chanel, Givenchy, Ford, Prada et al) and was ranked as number 1 in Models.com in 2012. She has moved beyond just modelling and has appeared in a Beyoncé video, and most importantly, a guest judge on RPDR 3 - Imaan Hammam (8.89) Dutch Imaan is Egyptian-Moroccan roots, and started her career by opening Givenchy as an exclusive, and Anna Wintour is a big fan, often putting her in Vogue editorials and giving her a special mention in her Editor's letter. 2 - Tyra Banks (9.21) The earliest model in this group, Tyra has become a brand name, with her TV shows and hostess career. Nevertheless, as a model, she appeared in campaigns for Escada, Ralph Lauren, D&G and others, as well as the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition (being the first African-American to do so) and one of the original Victoria's Secret Angel and a CoverGirl spokeswoman. 1 - Liu Wen (9.25) The "first Chinese Supermodel", Liu's achievements are impressive, first East Asian to: walk the VSFS, Estee Lauder spokeswoman, and to be named in the list of best earning models by Forbes. She walked the most shows in the fall 2009 season and still holds the record for a model of East Asian descent. She has been on the cover of American Vogue, amongst many others.
