    hi! I Haven't been on here in forever! Apparently I'm not missing much, I don't care for the new stuff. 

    My favorite was their swim line, I have so many cute swimsuits. I noticed they seem to be doing more brand collaborations now. I liked their old stuff better. 

    I don't have much to say except hello to everyone, thank you to those who have been posting pictures/videos, and I think VS sucks now. 

    @TheDude2k thanks for the information, I don't know why my messages/tages don't alert me, I decided to check this thread and saw you responded. I have no idea what Karen Mulder looks like either, but I have heard her name. I'm curious to what the original Angels looked like so thank you. I want to see how much they changed over the years. 

     

    @Siemgi very cool, thanks for posting! I have never seen that, I was just little when that aired so maybe I did but I wouldn't remember. The only one I recognize is Tyra. I always think of the Angels as Candice/Rosie/Doutzen/Ale/Adrianna/that group bc that's who were Angels when I was getting into fashion and modeling interests. I knew Angels existed before them but for some reason never cared to find out who. Now I am curious though

     

    who are you guys' favorite Angels? mine would be Barbara and Candice. 

    I think her face is starting to look a lot more mature, but still pretty. I follow Candice's work bc I really like her as a model (I think there are prettier models but they are not as good at modeling, but she is still gorgeous!) and I think she is just getting better at modeling with age. 

     

    I always forget Candice is a natural brunette and how much better I think she looks with blonde hair. I never realize how much of a difference hair color can make!

    the more I see that blue dress, the more I am ok with it. I don't care much for the shape of the top part, but the color and fabric are cool. It's fun and classy but I didn't like it at all at first. Miranda looks great as always. I love this hairstyle!! 

    thank you for the pictures! I love seeing old makeup advertisements, I really like the Estee Lauder above. My mom used Estee Lauder back in the 80s and 90s (sometimes still does), I will have to show her some of these. I like Paulina, she seems like she was a great model and I like that she is still around, I just saw something about her recently on my Bing homepage. 

    @TheDude2k told me to check out this thread, I don't know much about Stephanie Seymour but I see she modeled for Avon! My mom and I are big Avon fans, my grandma sold Avon for like 30 years or something and we still use their products, so I'm really happy to see some old Avon adds on here. 

     

    I don't like the clothes/hairstyles from her era of modeling, but she herself is very pretty and I do like seeing how editorials and fashion and modeling has developed over the years.

    Thanks for the link! I love Wikipedia, I had no idea they had this list though! there's a few names on this list that I don't know, like Daniela Pestova, so I have some researching to do this morning. 

    was stephanie Seymour the one that was married to Axel Rose? If so, that's all I know about her, so yes going to check her thread out now. I'm not familiar with many models from before the 2000s except for Kate Moss.

    I think Bikini Lovers has become the new VS Swim... 2021 featured Josephine Skriver, 2022 was Elsa Hosk, and 2023 is going to be Sara Sampaio... all ex-VS Angels.  Jaw dropping photos of them. :baronfaint:  Cameron Hammond is one heck of a photographer.

     

    IMO, Stephanie Seymour was the original VS Angel. :) 

    I don't know what Bikini Lovers are, but I will hvae to check it out. I used to LOVE VS swimsuits but the suits sucks as much as VS does now. 

    and yes Cameron Hammond is a fantastic photographer! 

     

    What year did VS start with the Angels? the Angels  I first remember seeing were Candice, Doutzen, Alessandra, Adrianna...I became a fan in 2005 but didn't really get into the Angels until 2012 so there's lots I don't know about VS. 

    thanks for the nostalgic posts! I love seeing these old throwbacks! I haven't kept on any modeling/fashion stuff for months, but it looks like Doutzen hasn't bene working much. I can understand though, she's got the money and ability to not work so much. But she is a really good model so I miss her work.

    That's a neat idea! I remember seeing Candice and Miranda a lot in 2010....Rosie and Lindsey E had a couple. I am googling old VS swim covers to see what I can find bc you have me interested as well. VS Swim is what got me into VS in the first place, I loved their swimsuits and bought a few and then realized I was interested in modeling as well. 

     

    if anyone still reads this thread, what got you into VS? I saw a picture of Alessandra wearing this bikini I wanted so my mom bought me the bikini but I never forgot the picture. then I kept going back to buy more swimsuits and really liking the pictures as well, I thought they were so pretty back then! Now the photography as VS is boring.

    thanks for posting! are these new? or is this an old editorial? I'm just now getting back into BZ after being away for months, so I am not up to date. I miss seeing all the angels together! 

    I really like her Jimmy Choo stuff!

     her V Magazine shoot is nice too, it's plain but still nice. I prefer simpler shoots like that than those that are really crazy and wild.

    pacinko!!! Hey!!! There's been a few of you I've really missed, but I didn't really think anyone cared about the pictures except for a few threads of bigger named models.

    I see this thread has been kept up on, but there are more that I can post when I get a chance. I will do my best to get the highest quality bc I know people do get weird about that.

    what a nice message!!!! I quit posting bc people complained I wasn't uploading good enough (which is true, I didn't know what I was doing at first ), but I am really glad you enjoyed the pictures and thank you for saying that about my cousin, I miss her a lot but everytime I saw Jessica's pictures, it made me smile and think of my cousin. I am going to think of it that was from now on, thank you.
