Asian in the U.K./Europe refers or means people of South Asian descent so Indian, Pakistani, Bengali, Sri Lankan etc, those are considered Asians in the U.K. whereas Chinese, Korean, Japanese etc are referred to as Orientals in the U.K. Liu Wen is the first East Asian model to walk and model for Victoria's Secret but she isn't the first Asian model since Ujjwala Raut walked the runway in 2003, hope that makes sense.

Ale isn't closing TRA because in the rehearsals pic you can see a model/angel with darker hair leaving the runway as Ale enters. Most likely she's somewhere in the middle of the lineup. My best bet is that Elsa is opening for sure!

Sanne's shoes are for Secret Angel, Adriana's is for Secret Angel as well, Joan's are for Dark Angel and Lily for Bright Night Angel (so she'll be in MR and BNA)

I personally think it has nothing to do with Lais needing more "energy" or "personality". It's her appeal in general, I love her and she has a rocking body, but her face is very "childlike" and "sweet". Models like Gisele and Karolina had stroking and fierce faces that they need any energy to have a strong opening because their walk was already powerful to begin with.

Am I the only one that loves her dark black hair? I think it makes her look more "exotic" and her grey/blue eyes really stand out. If she were blonde or brunette she wouldn't look much different than the other girls IMO but I do agree, I loved her brown hair in the 2006 show!

I think it was such a stupid idea that VS would have Secret Angel and Dark Angel back to back next to each other in the segment order...literally everyone will probably think it's just a really long segment and Martha's is in Dark Angel, they showed the sketch and her wings are apparently the biggest in the show.

I couldn't agree more! They need to bring back segments that weren't so literal like from the 2001 and 2003 shows, where there were only like 1-2 wings in the segment and it was just all lingerie with elaborate pieces

Secret Angel is more mysterious, classic Hollywood film noire (think Casablanca) and Dark Angel is Gothic Romance, more sultry and darker. It's easy to tell because Dark Angel seems to be almost ALL entirely black lingerie, pieces and wings while Secret Angel has a little more color (think Adriana's outfit).
