One moment a teenager attending school in Kiev, the next Elite Model Look's first place winner, 16 year old winner Diana Kovalchuk never dreamed that she would be living the life of a professional model in New York City and Nice.
A modeling school in Diana's hometown of Kiev, Ukraine entered the 178 cm. exotic beauty in the Elite Model Look contest.
After taking home the top honor for the 1996 Elite Model Look, it was off to New York. Within weeks of her arrival, Diana was working for such top magazines as French Elle, Glamour, Mademoiselle, American and Spanish Marie Claire, Amica, Cleo and Anna.
She has also worked with many renowned photographers, including Patrick Demarchelier, Friedmann Hauss, Michael Wirth, Jeff Manzetti, Andre Rau, Toni Meneguzzo, Paul Lange, Richard Phibbs and Jonathan Glenn Smith.
In addition to these accomplishments, Diana was hand-picked by Pantene for their TV commercial and has done the Oil of Olay campaign.
Diana made an impressive debut on the New York runways, appearing in the shows of Enrico Coveri, Marithe and Francois Girbaud, Marc Bower and Fernando Sanchez, among others. Diana is now based in Paris and enjoys travelling around the world, discovering exciting new cities and people..."
