hey, I think I may have been hacked. I was having problems with my connectivity, so I started deleting programs that I never used. I think I deleted Adobe, windows messenger, Nero, a few things like that...when I got my connectivity back, my personal files were gone. It was like they were stolen, b/c there was nothing in the recycle bin in case I deleted them accidentally... This came up on Norton: Category: Virus alerts Date,Feature,Virus Name,Action Taken,Item Type,Target,Suspicious Action,User Name,Computer Name,Details 1/30/2006 8:31:16 PM,Script Blocking,Suspicious script,Blocked,Script,N/A,FileSystem Object : DeleteFile,Owner,GRIFFIN-PH639H9,Source: C:\DOCUME~…

This is my first post to the site, so please forgive me if I break any rules or this topic has already been discussed. I show there are several threads about how to obtain hq images from many sites, but for the most part, they're apparel catalog sites, and the several model management agencies I've tried to search for weren't found. But I have a few questions: 1) Does any one know any tricks from some of the larger agencies to obtain hq images? 2) Does any one who is in the industry know why so many sites (especially in the us) have such SMALL images? Who wants to select talent based on postage stamp sized images? How can you possibly tell what someone really looks like w…

  3. Although Instagram has supported all shapes of pictures for almost a year now, anyone who downloads older pictures is often stuck with the problem of the two-sided borders created by various third-party products for those that did not want to crop their images. People wanting to remove them from their Instagram accounts are likely out of luck, but how about a simple utility to strip them from downloaded pictures? Windows Paint has an option to change the color of the borders, but it leaves a strip of junk next to the picture. What's needed is an easy way to either strip the borders or convert them to black (some people may want to convert black to white). T…

The topic title is pretty self explanatory. I've been using IIIUploader for a while to save myself time and effort when uploading and posting upwards of >200 images of a model to BZ at once. The program allows me to upload bulk amounts of images to an image hoster without having to go directly through the image host site. It's a pretty efficient and helpful program, however, recently I switched from a PC to a Mac and the developers of IIIU only make it in .exe format which won't execute on a Mac OS. Does anybody know of a similar alternative program that operates on a Mac OS? Or does anyone know of an easy method to execute .exe programs on a Mac? TIA everyone!

Who here is knowledgeable about recording video clips to DVD? I'm trying to use Sonic MyDVD to write various video files (.avi, .mpg, .wmv, .asf, etc.) as a DVD and I'm running into a problem. When I try to add certain video clips, I get an error message saying that they're in PAL format, and it won't add them unless all the clips are in PAL. Apparently, some of my video clips are NTSC and some are PAL format (but all are readable on my computer). I always thought a .wmv file was a .wmv file, but that seems not to be the case. Is there software out there that will reformat a PAL-formatted file to NTSC? How do I get around this?

Hi everybody I'm trying to capture the videos on nelly.com (lot of products are shown in a small video with the model walking on a catwalk like) but it resists on all the easy ways I know to capture videos. It seems more complicated, I mean too hard for me. If someone ever managed to capture one of those videos please let me know the way. Thanks everyone for this beautiful forum.

for the izabel website i am setting up, i really want to use the coppermine photo galleries to do the gallery pages because it would be so much easier than manually doing it. except, i have noooo idea how to get it going. if anyone that is on here uses it and wouldn't mind walking me through step-by-step (via aim or msn) on how to get it up, i'd appreciate it.

Dude links a bunch of Play Station 3s into a cluster... http://www.physorg.com/news92674403.html Play Station 3 uses IBM's Cell processor which is a multi-core CPU consisting of one generic core similar to x86 complimented by 8 accelerators specializing in floating point calculations... http://domino.research.ibm.com/comm/resear...innovation.html As everyone already knows... AMD no longer uses a Front Side Bus, even though current Intel CPUs are outperforming AMDs in benchmarks, AMD's new technology, Direct Connect Architecture and HyperTransport are still in it's infancy. AMD CPUs, no longer bound by the front side bus now have direct access to the system memory, direct …

MMkay, I would like to show some tricks, hopefully helpful. These following methods are based on google's search engine, which does not represent the forum's whole content. So no results doesn't mean it hasn't been posted before. Text-based example: I have a nice image, I know the model, and would like to post that. Is it repost? Too much pages, I'm lazy to check them. Due to this search will be text-based, we need more key-words, brand, campaign's title, photographer etc. That's why I always try to add a title, and copy paste even the video's name. In this case we have a Gavin Rea photo with Sarah... So normally we would write into search field Gavin Rea bellazon:…
