Adding Yt-dlp to the gallery-dl directory seems to have remedied that, but I have to selectively re-rip just the videos that are fubar, which is annoying and somewhat time-consuming. For me ripping images, and especially videos, is lots of trial and error, setbacks until I figure out how to obtain the highly available quality without re-encoding.
