Aussie girl Catherine McNeil is in Vogue

CATHERINE McNeil is living up to her reputation as one of the world's hottest models.

Signed up as the brand ambassador for Australian swimwear label Seafolly, she has also been given the seal of approval by Vogue's legendary New York magazine editor, Anna Wintour.

That's according to McNeil's New York-based agent Stephen Lee, who had just come from a meeting with Ms Wintour when he was contacted by The Sunday Telegraph.

"In the meeting, Anna said she wants Catherine to be an absolute, total Vogue girl,'' Mr Lee said.

"No Harper's or anying else - just Vogue. Anna says Catherine epitomises everything that Vogue wants to stand for now.''

Seafolly MD Anthony Halas backs up the praise.

"Catherine McNeil is the most significant brand ambassador signing in Seafolly's 33-year history and is an international brand coup,'' he said.

McNeil, who said she was enjoying living in New York, said the sizzling shoot was great fun.

"It was great being back home,'' she said. I still love Australia, there's no question about that.''
