Gisele will only appear at the Dolce & Gabbana show tomorrow!

I haven't found any news/photos about the Cacharel event...

Thanks! I'll send an e-mail to her website asking about this, because they said she was in Paris exlusive for the Cacharel event.

Gisele had to gain 14 pounds to be able to walk for the Dolce & Gabbana show. Does anyone else think that's ridiculous?

No, not at all. Fashion has to change it's attitudes towards models & WEIGHT!

Gisele is the boobs from Brazil why would we want to see a bony ass Gisele on the runway   ?? I'm glad some people are actually starting to make positive moves/gestures to these models. Curves on a woman model or not is always best. They will never be 'FAT' will they. 14 pounds on Gisele is NOTHING!

i agree with you but i just thought that gisele doesnt needs to gain any weight at all. she's not super skinny or anything like that. plus, isn't 14 pounds hard to put on in a short notice?

That is ridiculous! How did she do it? I hear she eats like a pig anyhow. Also, with weight gain, you never know where it could go, it could go to her belly and leave her looking ridiculous. People shouldn't be penalized for being naturally slender.

I also think its ridiculous, and I dont know the source but I highly doubt it. Models are skinny, have been, will always be - girls who WANT to look like models and develop an eating disorder because of that is clearly wrong, needless to say - but having unrealistic image ideals and violating your body to do so is the real problem. Have a good sense of yourself, skinny, average, fat, whatever - and love yourself, be good to yourself. I'm just saying that, forcing yourself to gain weight (if youre naturally skinny) is just as wrong as the girl putting her finger up her throath or something else up her nose to look like the model on the cover. If the goal here is not your health, (or even a long-term project like a movie, like we've seen actresses gain and lose weight before to do a film) but one fashion show, and in such short notice. its ridiculous. I highly doubt that Gisele will agree to that.

Plus, she already looks perfect as she is. You want meat, call Rosie O'Donell. Now that would be a spectacle. I can already see her, in skimpy lingerie, strutting her stuff (lots of) down the runway on the next VS fashion show...Looking forward.

No-one said about anything about forcing yourself to gain weight. When a model is way below her BMI it's not sexy and good to look at. It's quite frightening this doesn't concern Gisele but some models & wannabe models out there.

The industry has to start taking responsibilty like in Milan & Madrid. Giorgio Armani is a very positive designer he will tell a model when he feels they look too underweight and he won't use them. I saw his shows this week and all the models look great and health. And he rarely seems to use the 'big' name models.

It's not about WEIGHT, you've got it all wrong it's about HEALTH!!!!! These models may look good, but are they healthy?

What's wrong with bigger women/models?? I saw the Elena Miro show and most of those models were 110 times more stunning then the models in the shows where the size is strictly size 4-8 OR LESS.

Laetitia Casta is the most stunning models in the world to date, seeing her on the runway for VS is more exciting than seeing Gisele. Is she like Rosie???? I THINK NOT....People with attitudes like yours is whats wrong with FASHION!

Maybe you didnt pay attention, but that was my point exactly: health. Take another look. Or not. I dont really care...

'Have a good sense of yourself, skinny, average, fat, whatever - and love yourself, be good to yourself.'

Yeah that's the message fashion should be giving out.

You've just gone and contradicted yourself, by writing that? I've seen the Lane Bryant lingerie with the other models on that show and they were just as good as any model on the VS shows.

Ciao, bella! Tom keeps low profile in Milan

By Inside Track

Thursday, February 22, 2007 - Updated: 07:38 AM EST

Tom Brady [stats]finally had the good sense to go undercover yesterday as his glam galpal, Gisele Bundchen, arrived in Milan for her Fashion Week extravaganza today.

The New England Patriots [team stats] QB/QT - and daddy to be - was nowhere to be found when the Victoria’s Secret supermodel, dressed in her trademark skinny jeans, boots, no make-up, and her hair in a messy ponytail, blew into the Dolce & Gabbana store in Italy’s fashion capital for some shop therapy.

If we were betting gals, we’d say Tom will also lay low during G’s catwalk today in the D & G ready-to-wear show, as the Fashion Week highlight will be wall-to-wall paparazzi!

Brady’s Brazilian boo jettedto Milan via private jet yesterday after spending one last romantic day with her new man in Paris. The couple zoomed around the City of Love on a motorscooter and did a little sightseeing on foot. (We’re sure the Patriots are thrilled about the motorcycle thing. But we digress . . . .)

No. 12 wore a pair of white sneakers for his walkabout in Gay Paree, which even we know is a BIG fashion faux pas on the continent. It must be love if his new inamorata forgot to mention that little fact!

While in Paris, sources claim that Gisele blew off a meeting with the Ebel watch people at the LVMH Group, but she did manage a photo shoot for the cover of Harper’s Bazaar with designer Karl Lagerfeld. Tom, sources say, sat in the studio and took it all in. (The fashion mag, for the record, doesn’t discuss future covers. Damn.)

In Milan, Gisele - sans Tom - was seen tripping out of the revolving doors at the primoluxe Hotel Principe di Savoia on her way to the swank shops.

The couple has been under a media microscope since Tom’s ex, “Six Degrees” actress Bridget Moynahan announced she is preggers with the QB’s baby. Tom says he’s “excited” about becoming a dad, but pals add he has no intention of getting back together with his ex.

WE NEED TO ACT! There's a poll on today's Inside Track:

Whose side are you on in the Brady-Bridget baby-mama drama?

Tom's -- Bridget set him up.

Bridget's -- He should do the right thing and marry her.

Gisele's -- She's hot.

Let's vote!

   If he is cool with everything why is he keeping a low profile. Got something to hide Tom!!

This story will run & run till Bridget gives birth. He should do the right thing and go be with his baby mama not together but aid her. If the stories are true his moving into a place closer to Bridget. But his moved on, I'm sure Bridget has too.

some people need to get a life!

You are offending me. This is a celebrity forum, for Christ sakes! We came here to have fun and to talk about someone who we ALL admire - Gisele. We are not here to discuss the war on Iraq or the meaning of life.

I said some people, I did not say you. last time I checked you didn't create that poll, so what I said wasn't for you.

Ok.

MILAN FASHION WEEK

THE appearance of Gisele Bundchen confirmed rumours that she'll appear in the Dolce & Gabbana show this afternoon . somehow you wouldn't think a super-duper model's return to the catwalk would cause much of a furore but it does and it was front row conversation and we're all looking forward to it.

Gisele the 'love goddess' is back

Gisele Bundchen is back where she belongs, writes Hilary Alexander

Feeling a little nervous in her 6in metal spike-heels, but showing no signs of strain, Gisele Bundchen, the supermodel known as "the boobs from Brazil", made her first catwalk appearance in five years at Milan Fashion Week yesterday.

Dressed as a sci-fi "love goddess" in a pewter taffeta "puffball" mini-dress, cinched with a 12in silver metal corset, Bundchen opened the autumn/winter collection for the design duo, Dolce & Gabbana.

Watching from the sidelines was her new boyfriend, Tom Brady, a quarterback with the New England Patriots football team. Bundchen officially "retired" from the international catwalk scene in 2001. She lives in New York and concentrates on appearances as one of the "faces and bodies" of the lingerie label, Victoria's Secret.

"I live in sneakers and flip-flops these days, and I do more walking with my dogs than on the catwalk, so I had to do some practice to get used to high heels again," she said.

The model, 26, originally made her debut in a Dolce & Gabbana show aged 16. Yesterday's D&G collection was a futuristic fantasy of dresses in lacquered silk, metal-coated satin and wool and knits woven from steel yarn, accessorised with masks and whips. This was "industrial chic" at its most luxurious. Copper, pewter, gold, silver and bronze glittered on a mirrored catwalk. Lace was dipped in liquid metals. Belts, bustiers and shoes were decorated with "designer hardware" of screws and rivets.

Metal chainmail was embellished with Swarovski crystals and tulle "cage" dresses were given an hourglass shape with fine steel corsetry or decorated with tinfoil flowers.

Two British designers offered collections. Matthew Williamson, renowned as the sultan of boho-chic, delivered a 1970s-inspired collection for the Florentine brand, Pucci. The familiar multi-coloured graphics, swirls and psychedelic prints were translated as micro-mini-dresses with lace-and-thong necklines, with matching fox-fur jackets.

Giles Deacon virtually ignored the famous house check in his first collection for Daks. He concentrated on curvy-tailored coats with in-built corsets and evening wear in a geometric patchwork of velvet and taffeta.

Gisele did many shows in 2002 and 2003 as well, I think the last time she did shows for big names, was in 2004 for Marc Jacobs.

MILAN FASHION WEEK

ALESSANDRO DELL’ACQUA’s show last night boasted one of the best dressed front rows of the week – everybody had dashed back to change between it and Moschino so they could look their best for the much-hyped BoomBox party to see the likes of Giles Deacon, Gareth Pugh and Roksanda Ilincic playing coat check, waiter and cigarette girl, respectively. Today, everybody will drag their hangovers (the partying started with Dolce & Gabbana’s soiree earlier in the evening to celebrate their dominatrix collection with Gisele and her boyfriend Tom Brady leading the merry dance), back to the show tents to see Missoni (dark glasses will certainly be needed here), Gianfranco Ferre and the last big show of the week – Versace which, with Christopher Kane consulting again on this collection, is bound to bring some British cheer. The main gossip on the front row? How long will Giles Deacon last at Daks if they don’t let his creative juices run freely? And where was Tom Brady during Gisele’s catwalk comeback at the Dolce show? (Answer: backstage. We hear he requested a front row ticket but then lost his nerve – or failed to get his girlfriend’s permission – and decided to sit it out behind the scenes.) The last flight out of Malpensa last night will be full of fashion folk heading home to choose a whole new wardrobe to wear for Paris Fashion Week, which begins on Monday. (February 23 2007, AM)
